Shantou Fireworks with Mobile Toilets
Mobile toilets are available during the Shantou fireworks show.

At the 2024 Shantou New Year's Eve grand fireworks show, to meet the toilet needs of a large number of spectators while watching the fireworks, the organizers carefully arranged mobile toilet facilities on both sides of the Inner Bay. Specifically, a total of 360 single mobile toilets were placed. These toilets were mainly distributed in six areas, including the main viewing area, the Nanbin Road section, the Haibin Road section, the Overseas Chinese Park viewing area, the Mayu Island viewing area, and the rooftop of Century Building. The selection of these areas fully took into account the spectator flow and viewing convenience, ensuring that spectators could easily and quickly find toilet locations while enjoying the fireworks.
In addition to the arrangement of mobile toilets in the main areas mentioned above, the organizers also temporarily added 120 mobile toilets along Haibin Road, Nanbin Road, and Zhugang District around the Inner Bay. These toilets were set up at 21 locations, further expanding the coverage of toilet facilities and improving the convenience for spectators. These temporarily added mobile toilets also followed scientific and reasonable layout principles, ensuring that spectators would not be affected by toilet issues while watching the fireworks.
Regarding the service period, these mobile toilets were available from noon at 12 o'clock to 8:30 p.m. on the day of the fireworks show. This time selection fully took into account the viewing time of the fireworks show and the changes in spectator flow, ensuring that sufficient toilet facilities were provided when spectators needed them most. At the same time, the organizers also strengthened the maintenance and management of the mobile toilets to ensure their normal operation during the service period and provide spectators with a clean, tidy, and comfortable toilet environment.
