Service Life of Mobile Toilets
The service life of mobile toilets generally ranges from 5 to 15 years, and in some cases, it can be between 5 and 20 years. The service life varies significantly due to factors such as material, usage environment, and maintenance.

In terms of materials, if high-quality durable materials like high-grade steel are used for the frame and are well-protected against corrosion, for example, mobile toilets with frames made of hot-dip galvanized steel pipes can remain sturdy for over 10 years under normal conditions. On the other hand, those using ordinary steel with poor anti-corrosion measures may show signs of rust and corrosion on the frame in about 5 years. Some simple mobile toilets, such as those made of wood or ordinary plastic in the early days, have relatively short service lives. Mobile toilets of regular quality, mostly made of better materials like galvanized pipes and high-density polyethylene, can have a service life of 10 to 15 years with normal use and regular maintenance. High-end mobile toilets, some of which use stainless steel frames and high-quality composite materials, can even last for over 20 years when used in ideal environments and properly maintained.
The usage environment also has a significant impact on the service life of mobile toilets. In relatively dry, well-ventilated, and low-traffic areas, mobile toilets tend to have a longer service life. For example, those in relatively isolated and less-visited areas of scenic spots may remain in good condition for up to 15 years. However, in damp, sandy, or extremely high-traffic places like construction sites and large event venues, the wear and tear will accelerate. Mobile toilets used at construction sites may require major repairs or replacement of some parts in as little as 3 to 5 years.
In addition, maintenance is crucial. Regular cleaning, inspection, and maintenance of mobile toilets can effectively extend their service life. If comprehensive cleaning is carried out at least once a week, component inspection and tightening are done monthly, and anti-corrosion and anti-rust treatment of key parts is performed annually, the service life will be closer to the upper limit. Conversely, without proper maintenance, various faults and damages may occur within a few years.
