Self-Made Mobile Toilet Video
Admin October 01, 2026
You can refer to the following two common plans for making a mobile toilet yourself:

Making a Mobile Toilet Using a Water Storage Barrel
- Basic Structure Construction: First, prepare a water storage barrel and use an angle grinder to split it in half lengthwise. Fix universal wheels at the four corners of a wooden board to facilitate moving the entire toilet. Then, use wooden strips and self-tapping screws to increase the height around the water storage barrel, providing space for installing other components later.
- Door and Wall Construction: Cut an opening on the side of the water storage barrel for the door. Install sponge strips to form the door frame and insert plastic soft boards to create raised walls, enhancing the privacy and stability of the toilet. Place the upper half of the water storage barrel on top of the wooden strips to serve as the roof, providing protection from wind and rain.
- Indoor Device Installation: Cut a hole at the bottom of the barrel and install a drain pipe to form a floor drain for easy sewage discharge. Drill holes on the side and bottom of the plastic barrel to install direct connectors. Place another plastic barrel over these connectors to serve as a small water storage device for storing flushing water. Use water pipes to make a simple bathroom heater to provide some heating. Install a toilet and a water tank, and connect the drain pipe to the sewage barrel to ensure smooth discharge of waste. Connect a three-way connector to the outlet pipe and then to a water pipe as the inlet pipe for the sink to meet hand-washing needs.
Making a Mobile Toilet Using a Water Storage Tank and a Pallet
- Mobile Base Preparation: First, take out a plastic pallet and fix universal wheels at its four corners to allow flexible movement of the entire toilet.
- Subsequent Expansion Construction: Based on the pallet, you can further install components such as a water storage tank. Place the water storage tank at an appropriate position on the pallet for storing flushing water or other purposes. According to actual needs, build a simple frame structure on the pallet for installing sanitary facilities such as a toilet and a sink. The frame can be made of wood or metal materials to ensure its stability. At the same time, plan the drainage pipes reasonably to direct the sewage to an appropriate discharge point.
