Self-made Mobile Table Toilet
Admin September 21, 2026
You can refer to the following two plans and steps for making a self-made mobile table toilet:

Plan 1: Using Water Storage Tanks and a Pallet
- Basic Frame Construction Select a pallet of an appropriate size as the base. Fix universal wheels at each of the four corners on the bottom of the pallet to ensure mobility. The pallet should have sufficient load-bearing capacity to support the subsequent installation of water storage tanks and sanitary equipment.
- Water Storage Tank Modification and Installation Prepare two water storage tanks. One of them needs to be cut open to serve as the tank body (for storing wastewater or clean water). Stack the two water storage tanks vertically and fix them together with self-tapping screws to form a double-layer structure. Cut out an entrance position for easy access.
- Sanitary Equipment Installation Create a drainage hole on the interior floor. Install a toilet (you can choose a simple or portable type) and connect it to the toilet tank. Fix water pipes and faucets, and install a sink to ensure a water supply. Connect the toilet tank to a showerhead (if a shower function is required) to form a complete water circulation system.
- Detail Improvement Install a door and a door handle to ensure privacy. Check all connections for tightness to prevent water leakage. You can add lighting equipment or ventilation devices inside to enhance comfort.
Plan 2: Combination of Metal Frame and Panels
- Design and Planning Determine the size of the toilet according to usage needs and design the interior layout (such as the position of the seat, ventilation openings, and the placement of sanitary equipment). It is necessary to focus on the compatibility between the ventilation system (such as an exhaust fan or natural ventilation openings) and sanitary equipment (such as toilets and sinks).
- Material Procurement and Processing Purchase a metal frame (such as aluminum alloy or stainless steel), anti-corrosion wooden panels (for the floor and walls), and PVC plastic panels (for partitions or ceilings). The metal frame needs to be cut to the designed size, and the anti-corrosion wooden panels and PVC panels need to be cut according to requirements.
- Frame Construction and Panel Installation Weld or assemble the metal frame to form a stable structure. Fix the anti-corrosion wooden panels on the bottom of the frame as the floor, and install PVC plastic panels on the walls and ceiling to ensure waterproofing and moisture resistance.
- Equipment Installation and Debugging Install sanitary equipment such as seats, toilets, and sinks, and connect water pipes and the drainage system. Test the effectiveness of the ventilation system to ensure air circulation. Check all connections for firmness to avoid loosening during use.
Precautions:
- Confirm the environmental friendliness of the materials before making to avoid using toxic substances.
- The drainage system should be reasonably designed to prevent wastewater overflow or odor diffusion.
- The mobile toilet should be regularly cleaned to maintain a hygienic environment.
