Self-Assembly Portable Toilet
Admin September 21, 2026
You can assemble a portable toilet yourself by using a water bucket or a water storage tank as the main material, combined with other accessories and tools.

Assembling a Portable Toilet Using a Water Bucket
- Base Installation: First, prepare a wooden board with universal wheels as the base to ensure stability and ease of movement. Fix the cut water bucket onto the base to serve as the main water storage or sewage container for the toilet.
- Cutting and Reinforcement: Use an angle grinder to cut an opening in the water bucket and wrap the cut edges with wooden boards to increase structural strength and safety. Insert aluminum-plastic panels to raise the height of the bucket and install a lid to prevent odor from escaping.
- Internal Beautification: Paint the internal wooden strips with white paint to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the toilet while also facilitating cleaning and maintenance.
- Wooden Door Fabrication: Process wooden boards and strips to make a wooden door and install it on the toilet body using hinges to ensure smooth opening and closing and good sealing.
- Drainage System Installation: After constructing the main frame, mark the hole positions and connect elbow drainage pipes, and install a floor drain to allow sewage to drain smoothly. Drill holes on the side and bottom of the green bucket and install water pipe connectors on the lid for connecting to a water source or sewage pipeline.
- Shower Facility Installation: Use PVC pipes to assemble a showerhead and connect it to water pipes and valves to add a shower function to the toilet, enhancing user comfort.
- Toilet Installation: Drill a hole in the middle of the base as the toilet drain pipe, install a new toilet, and apply sealant to ensure a tight seal between the toilet and the base, preventing water leakage.

- Trolley Preparation: First, fix universal wheels at the four corners of the bottom of the trolley to allow easy movement of the toilet.
- Water Storage Tank Integration: Place the water storage tank on the trolley and fix and connect it according to actual needs. The water storage tank can be used to store clean water or sewage, depending on the design and usage of the toilet.
- Installation of Other Accessories: According to actual needs, accessories such as toilets, sinks, and shower facilities can be installed on the toilet to meet different usage requirements.
