Scenic Area Mobile Toilet Layout Plan
Admin October 05, 2026
The layout of mobile toilets in scenic areas should be designed by comprehensively considering passenger flow characteristics, site conditions, and functional requirements. The core plan is divided into four parts: selection logic, adaptation plans, technical key points, and customized services.

I. Core Logic of Selection
- Passenger Flow Analysis: It is necessary to clarify peak-hour passenger flow (which determines the number of toilet stalls, with a higher proportion of female toilet stalls than male ones), the ratio between peak and off-peak seasons (if the peak season is more than five times the off-peak season, a flexible plan is required), and site conditions (whether there are municipal water supply and drainage systems, power sources, and transportation channels).
- Basic Condition Adaptation: Areas without municipal sewer networks need to be equipped with independent septic tanks or mobile sewage treatment vehicles to ensure compliant sewage treatment.
II. Plans Adapted to Different Passenger Flows
- Small Scenic Areas/Stable Passenger Flow: Scenic areas with a daily passenger flow of less than a thousand people and a ratio between peak and off-peak seasons of less than three times (such as city parks) should adopt standardized finished units (4-8 toilet stalls), including independent hand-washing areas and barrier-free units. The exterior facade can be customized according to the scenic area's style (such as white walls and black tiles in ancient towns), and priority should be given to connecting to the municipal sewer network to reduce operation and maintenance costs. Technical highlights include a light steel structure frame, a metal carved panel exterior (combining strength and aesthetics), and a modular interior design (allowing for the separate replacement of damaged parts).
- Medium to Large Scenic Areas/Strong Tidal Passenger Flow: Scenic areas with a daily passenger flow ranging from thousands to tens of thousands of people and holiday peaks more than five times the usual level (such as mountain scenic areas) should adopt a "core fixed layer + flexible supplementary layer + emergency reserved layer" model. The core layer deploys permanent prefabricated public toilets (covering 60%-70% of peak demand), the flexible layer uses relocatable modular units (brought in during peak seasons and removed during off-peak seasons), and the emergency layer reserves foundations and water and electricity interfaces. Technical highlights include an intelligent monitoring system (displaying usage status in real-time) and customizable toilet stall ratios (such as adding barrier-free toilet compartments).
III. General Technical Key Points
- Structure and Function: The main frame is made of light steel structure, and the exterior metal carved panels can be customized in color and pattern. The modular interior design includes independent toilet stalls, hand-washing basins, exhaust systems, etc. Some models are equipped with additional auxiliary devices such as ceiling lights and ventilation fans. The core systems include a sewage treatment module (biological degradation or physical filtration), an environmental control module (exhaust fans and temperature control devices), and a power supply module (supporting municipal power or solar energy).
- Deployment Process: Select specifications according to the site size (such as a standardized model of 3m × 4.2m × 3m), complete the foundation installation through lifting or forklifts, connect the water and electricity pipelines (configure independent septic tanks in areas without municipal sewer networks), and finally conduct functional debugging.
- Environmental Adaptability: The light steel structure and anti-corrosion materials can withstand wind and rain erosion. The internal drainage system adopts an anti-clogging design, and the combination with septic tanks or sewage collection devices reduces environmental impact.
IV. Customized Services
- Function Expansion: Value-added functions such as intelligent paper dispensers and air purifiers can be integrated. For mountain scenic areas, the equipment height can be adjusted to adapt to slopes. For child-friendly scenarios, low-level hand-washing basins and anti-slip floors can be added.
- Service Guarantee: Some suppliers provide full-process support (design, transportation, and installation) to shorten the project cycle. The production process complies with relevant national standards, with strict procedures from material selection to finished product inspection.
