How to Prevent Dumping of Mobile Toilets in Scenic Areas
The issue of dumping mobile toilets in scenic areas should be avoided through scientific fixing measures rather than active dumping operations. The core lies in enhancing stability through site selection, fixing devices, and counterweights.

1. Site Selection and Foundation Inspection
The installation location of mobile toilets directly affects their stability. Choose flat, well-drained hard surfaces (such as concrete or stone floors) and avoid soft or waterlogged areas (such as grass or sand). If the ground conditions are not ideal, lay gravel or wooden planks at the bottom of the toilet to form a uniform support surface. Additionally, check that the toilet's support feet are intact and ensure even support at all four corners or key load-bearing points to prevent tilting due to uneven local stress.
2. Ground Anchor Fixing Method
Ground anchors are crucial devices for preventing the dumping of mobile toilets. At the four corners or load-bearing positions of the toilet, use expansion screws or ground anchor pins to firmly connect the fixing chains (straps) to the ground. If space permits, concrete or counterweight blocks can be driven into the bottom of the toilet to increase its overall weight. The depth of the ground anchors should exceed 30 centimeters to ensure sufficient pull-out resistance, especially in scenic areas with strong winds or heavy foot traffic, where the stability of the ground anchors directly relates to the safety of the toilet.
3. Windbreak Ropes and Diagonal Tension Fixing
In scenic areas with strong winds, windbreak ropes and diagonal tension fixing can significantly enhance the toilet's wind resistance. Install windbreak ropes at the top of the toilet and fix the other end to ground stakes or heavy objects to form multi-angle tension. If the wind persists, adopt a "井"-shaped diagonal tension method, using nylon ropes or steel cables to tighten the toilet body from different directions and disperse the impact of wind forces on the structure.
4. Additional Counterweight Scheme
Increasing the counterweight can effectively lower the toilet's center of gravity and enhance stability. Add heavy objects such as sandbags or water tanks inside or outside the toilet, for example, placing 2-3 bags of 20-kilogram sandbags on each side or using a water tank filled with clean water at the bottom. The counterweight should be evenly distributed to prevent tilting due to excessive weight on one side. If the toilet has a double-decker structure, also check that the connection between the upper and lower floors is secure to prevent dumping due to structural loosening.
5. Regular Inspection and Emergency Reinforcement
The fixing devices of mobile toilets require regular maintenance. During events, check the ground anchors, windbreak ropes, etc., daily for looseness. Reinforce the windbreak ropes in advance when rain or strong wind warnings are issued, and add temporary supports if necessary. If slight tilting of the toilet is detected, immediately stop using it and refix it. Do not force its use to avoid safety accidents. When cleaning or moving the toilet, it is recommended to contact a professional rental company or follow the safety specifications in the product manual.
