Scenic Area Mobile Toilet Design

Admin September 27, 2026

The design of mobile toilets in scenic areas is diverse, with common forms including container-style, Apple Pod-style, and double-roof designs, all adhering to principles of mobility, environmental friendliness, and efficiency.

Common Design Forms

  • Container-style: Taking an 8-squat design as an example, the entire structure is built using containers. The exterior walls are constructed with a combination of stone-like paint and long city panels, making them not only sturdy and durable but also aesthetically pleasing. The central handwashing area is equipped with double sinks for the convenience of visitors. The men's restroom features 3 urinals and 4 partitioned squat stalls, effectively planning the space to meet the needs of different visitors.
  • Apple Pod-style: This design adopts a warm color scheme with a dual-color exterior, exuding a strong sense of design. It features double doors in the middle, which provide excellent insulation in cold weather, offering visitors a relatively warm and comfortable environment.
  • Double-roof design: The front is constructed with metal carved panels, which are not only visually appealing but also durable. Two decorative windows are installed, allowing for good light transmission and increasing the internal lighting of the restroom, making the environment brighter and reducing the sense of oppression for visitors.

Design Principles

  • Mobility and Cost-effectiveness: The overall structure is designed to be lightweight and durable, utilizing materials such as containers and metal carved panels as mentioned above. While ensuring structural integrity, the height and width of the restrooms are controlled to ensure that the mobile devices are complete and reasonable, facilitating easy movement and installation in different locations within the scenic area and reducing construction and operational costs.
  • Environmental Friendliness and Sustainability: During the design and use process, emphasis is placed on environmental protection concepts. For example, eco-friendly materials are used to reduce pollution to the environment, and the drainage system is reasonably planned to prevent sewage from damaging the scenic area environment.
  • Efficiency Improvement and Humanitarianism: The internal space and facility layout of the restrooms are reasonably planned to improve usage efficiency and reduce visitor waiting times. At the same time, the needs of different groups of people are considered, such as the installation of barrier-free facilities, promoting humanitarianism and providing more personalized services for visitors.
