Scenic Area Mobile Toilet
A scenic area mobile toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and is set up in scenic spots and other places to provide toilet services to the public. The following is an introduction from multiple aspects:

Materials and Structure: In the early days, wood was used for manufacturing. Later, materials such as fiberglass-reinforced plastic and polyethylene gradually came into use. The overall structure emphasizes being lightweight, durable, and sturdy. For example, a galvanized steel frame structure combined with waterproof asphalt shingles can be moved with a crane at any time. There are also mobile toilets with exterior walls made of heat-insulating metal carved panels and an overall pointed-roof design.
Composition: Generally, they are composed of fecal sewage storage tanks (or disposal devices), floor slabs, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. Internally, they are equipped with squat toilets, washbasins, exhaust fans, ceiling lights, and other facilities. Some are also equipped with stainless steel door locks.
Classification:
- By structural form: They are divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets.
- By moving method: There are lifting and handling mobile toilets, as well as powered and trailer-mounted mobile toilets.
- By sewage treatment method: They include water-flushing and waterless suction mobile toilets, circulating water-flushing mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets.
Specifications and Squat Positions: There are different specifications. For example, a four-squat-position toilet is 4 meters long and 2.3 meters wide. The men's toilet has two squat positions, urinals, and pedestal basins. There are also six-squat-position independent single-room toilets.
Special Types: The West Lake scenic area in Huizhou, Guangzhou, has a "tidal toilet" that is not in operation all day long. It is only put into use during special periods when the tourist flow surges, such as the Spring Festival and lantern festivals. It maintains a fixed male-female partition state on a daily basis. This public toilet has a total area of 238 square meters and is equipped with 2 barrier-free toilet stalls, 1 third toilet, 8 female toilet stalls, and 12 male toilet stalls (including 7 urinals). It is equipped with an intelligent system and is a 3A smart toilet in the West Lake scenic area.
Application Scenarios: They are suitable for tourist attractions and other places. When there is a shortage in the number and layout of urban public toilets, the government sets them up in areas where it is relatively difficult to build fixed public toilets to make up for the insufficient supply and unreasonable layout of public toilets.
