Scenic Area Engineering Mobile Toilet
Scenic area engineering mobile toilets are portable restroom facilities that can be moved as a whole and placed in scenic spots or other locations with fixed or temporary needs.

I. Basic Components Mobile toilets generally consist of fecal sewage storage tanks (or disposal units), floor slabs, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. Among them, the fecal sewage storage tank is used to collect excreta, and some high-end models are equipped with disposal units for preliminary purification. The walls are mostly made of materials such as metal carved panels and galvanized steel sheets, balancing aesthetics and durability. The mobile devices can support transfer methods such as hoisting, towing, or power-driven movement according to design differences.
II. Structural Classifications
- By structural form: They are divided into single-unit structures and composite structures. Single-unit structures are mostly independent units, suitable for scenarios with limited space. Composite structures are composed of multiple modules and can flexibly expand the number of toilet stalls to meet high foot traffic demands.
- By mobility method: They include hoisting and handling types and power-towing types. The hoisting type relies on lifting equipment for transfer and is suitable for short-term events. The towing type is equipped with a wheel and axle system and can be moved long distances by vehicle traction, often used for touring exhibitions or temporary construction sites.
- By sewage treatment method: They are classified as water-flush types, waterless suction types, circulating water-flush types, and dry-packing types. The water-flush type relies on water tank supply, offering high cleanliness but requiring regular water replenishment. The waterless type treats excreta through vacuum suction or chemical degradation, suitable for water-scarce areas. The circulating water-flush type uses a filtration system to recover wastewater, achieving water resource reuse. The dry-packing type uses biodegradable bags to collect feces, eliminating the need for sewage pipelines and simplifying maintenance.
III. Design Features Some scenic area mobile toilets adopt thickened galvanized square tube welded frames to enhance structural stability, enabling them to withstand strong winds or collisions. The internal layout is customized according to actual needs. For example, a factory in Zhejiang customized a蹲位 (toilet stall) configuration of '1 female and 7 male' due to an imbalance in the male-to-female ratio, optimizing space utilization. Additionally, details such as public washing areas and independent urinals further enhance usability.
