RV-style Mobile Toilet

Admin September 23, 2026

RV-style mobile toilets mainly include types such as biodegradable toilets, sealed-design mobile toilets, RV smart biodegradable toilets, and upper-lower split-design mobile toilets, each with its own characteristics.

The biodegradable toilet has a similar appearance to an ordinary toilet, designed for sitting, with separate areas for defecation and urination. When in use, it contains bacterial materials that are biodegradable, and the toilet uses negative pressure exhaust to expel gases outward, resulting in almost no odor during use. It solves the problem of traditional RV toilets requiring frequent emptying of the black water tank. Previously, the toilet needed to be emptied every two to three days or three to five days, but with the biodegradable toilet, the degradation materials inside only need to be replaced every one to two months.

The sealed-design mobile toilet has upper and lower parts that are sealed, preventing odors from rising normally. After each emptying, about 15 milliliters of degradation liquid is poured in, which can ensure that the toilet remains odor-free for four to seven days. The water tank at the water-filling position also contains fragrant cleaning liquid to further improve the user experience.

Some RV smart biodegradable toilets have more abundant functions, including a butt-washing feature with hot water and an odor-removal device. They can automatically stir, and after a few minutes of electric stirring, the odor is blown out by an external fan, while the excreta can be degraded within a few minutes. After the black water tank of this type of toilet is emptied, the contents inside, when stirred evenly, have no odor and can be used as fertilizer for growing flowers. For a single user, the degradation materials need to be replaced approximately every 60 days, and for two users, every 30 to 40 days.

In addition, RV mobile toilets also have an upper-lower split design, which makes emptying more convenient and is equipped with an exhaust valve to prevent expansion due to high summer temperatures or altitude changes, ensuring safety during use.
