Rural Prefabricated House Assembly Tutorial
Admin September 18, 2026
The assembly of rural prefabricated houses should be carried out in four stages: preparation, foundation treatment, component hoisting and connection, and finishing. The specific steps are as follows:

I. Preparation Stage
- Component Inspection: Verify that the dimensions, specifications, and strength of all prefabricated components meet the design requirements. Focus on checking whether the reserved sleeves, rebar positions, and quantities are consistent with the design drawings.
- Material and Tool Preparation: Prepare auxiliary materials such as cement mortar and sealing materials in advance. Debug hoisting equipment (e.g., mobile cranes), drills, expansion screws, and other tools to ensure stable performance.
II. Foundation Treatment
- Foundation Construction: After leveling the site, excavate foundation pits to a depth that meets design standards. Before pouring the concrete垫层 (sub-base), lay white plastic sheeting to prevent moisture loss and promote hydration reactions, enhancing concrete strength. In rural Chinese cases, rebar is typically pre-embedded, while some Korean cases do not use rebar.
- Installation of Anchor Plates and Foundation Piles: After the concrete has set, use a drill to create holes at the anchor plate positions and secure the anchor plates with expansion screws. Use a crane to hoist prefabricated foundation piles (approximately 5 tons each), using the reserved holes at their corners for positioning. After installing the crossbeams, adjust the height with a level, secure them with nuts, fill the gaps with expanding foam, and finally seal the nut areas with cement.
III. Component Hoisting and Connection
- Main Structure Assembly: Hoist components such as columns, beams, and slabs in a sequential manner, prioritizing bolt connections or sleeve grouting techniques to enhance structural stability.
- Base Layer Treatment: Before hoisting prefabricated slabs, moisten the top surface of the load-bearing walls one day in advance and level them with high-grade cement mortar to ensure full and even mortar coverage, achieving a 'face-to-face' contact between the slabs and walls.
- Support and Gap Treatment: Install temporary supports at the bottom of the slabs to prevent deformation during installation. Fill the gaps between slabs and walls with sealing materials to prevent leakage. Pay special attention to checking the connections between walls to ensure tightness.
IV. Finishing Work
Conduct a comprehensive inspection of the house's appearance, clean up excess materials and construction debris, and focus on checking whether the connection nodes and sealed areas are secure. Once confirmed, the house can be put into use.
Precautions:
- Hoisting operations must be carried out by professionals in strict accordance with safety regulations.
- After concrete pouring, follow the specifications for curing to avoid early loading.
- Choose sealing materials with strong weather resistance to ensure long-term waterproofing effects.
