Rural Mobile Toilets in Lingshi County
Lingshi County has implemented various measures in terms of policy planning, procurement projects, and supporting equipment for rural mobile toilets.
In terms of policy planning, Lingshi County actively responds to the requirements of Document No. 7 [2022] issued by the Rural Development Office and Society, vigorously promoting the construction and management of rural public toilets. It emphasizes the need to carry out construction based on actual demands, with scientific and reasonable layouts to avoid resource waste caused by blind construction. Meanwhile, the land for public toilets and service rooms is included in the scope of land security for rural public infrastructure to ensure that there is land available for construction. In terms of appearance, it is required to be in harmony with the surrounding environment and to set up standardized signs to enhance the overall image and recognition of rural public toilets.
Regarding procurement projects, in 2023, Lingshi County carried out the procurement work for the mobile toilet purchase and installation project. It procured two types of mobile toilets from the Comback brand, namely the cartoon type (KBK - 211) and the ordinary type (KBK - 311), with a total contract amount of 799,800 yuan. The delivery location is the designated place by the buyer in Lingshi County, and the supplier is responsible for a series of work including transportation, installation and commissioning, and technical training, ensuring the smooth commissioning of the mobile toilets and providing convenience for rural residents.
In terms of supporting equipment, in the 2024 rural toilet revolution village-by-village promotion award and subsidy project, Lingshi County procured various models of fecal suction trucks and fecal suction cleaning trucks. These include Wuzheng brand semi-enclosed 1.5-cubic-meter, fully-enclosed 1.5-cubic-meter, and fully-enclosed 2.5-cubic-meter fecal suction trucks, as well as 2.5-cubic-meter fecal suction cleaning trucks. These equipment are mainly used for the treatment of fecal waste from rural toilets. By equipping professional fecal waste treatment equipment, it can effectively solve the problems of collection, transportation, and treatment of fecal waste from rural toilets, improve the rural sanitation environment, promote the in-depth development of the rural toilet revolution, and enhance the quality of life of rural residents.
