Expanding Application Scenarios: In rural tourism projects, mobile toilets have become a standard配套 facility for homestay clusters. Taking rural tourism projects as an example, mobile restrooms, as important supporting facilities, meet the basic toilet needs of tourists, effectively enhancing their travel experience, providing strong support for the development of the rural tourism industry, and promoting the growth of the rural tourism economy.
Significant Technological Progress in the Industry: The mobile toilet industry in Hunan Province has made notable progress in intelligence and environmental protection. Some enterprises have introduced mobile restrooms with Internet of Things (IoT) capabilities, allowing users to monitor their usage status in real-time through an app, facilitating management and maintenance. Meanwhile, the proportion of environmentally friendly products using solar power and biodegradation technology has increased significantly, reaching 68% as of the relevant statistical time, a 22 percentage point increase from 2023. These technological advancements not only improve the convenience of using mobile toilets but also reduce their environmental impact, providing solid technical support for the upgrading of rural mobile toilets.
Preliminary Formation of Industrial Bases: Two major industrial bases have been established in Changsha and Yueyang within Hunan Province. Among them, Changsha has gathered 12 core production enterprises, producing more than 3,000 mobile restrooms of various types annually, with a significant industrial agglomeration effect that helps reduce production costs, improve production efficiency, and promote industrial scale development. In addition, areas such as Xiangxi City also provide outdoor finished mobile public toilets, priced at approximately 1,200 yuan per unit, with a total supply of 780 units, and support customization. These toilets have a wide range of applications, covering multiple cities and counties across the province, meeting the needs of different regions and users.
Increasingly Diverse Product Types: In rural renovations, mobile bathroom units with integrated toilet and shower facilities have also been applied. For example, a customer in Hunan ordered a dry-wet separation mobile bathroom unit, 2.5 meters wide and 3 meters long, featuring metal insulated carved panels and ventilation design, combining toilet and shower functions. This simplifies the rural renovation process and provides rural residents with more comfortable and convenient living facilities.
