Production Process of Rural Mobile Toilets

Admin October 10, 2026

There are mainly two production processes for rural mobile toilets:

First Production Process

  1. Basic Structure Construction: Take out a water storage barrel from home and split it in half with an angle grinder. Fix universal wheels at the four corners of a wooden board for easy mobility. Take several wooden strips and firmly attach them to the upper side of the barrel using self-tapping screws to increase the barrel's height.
  2. Door and Wall Construction: Use an angle grinder to create a doorway on the side of the water storage barrel. Install foam strips on both sides of the doorway to form a door frame. Insert a plastic soft board between the wooden strips to create an elevated wall.
  3. Roof and Appearance Treatment: Place the upper half of the water storage barrel steadily on top of the wooden strips to form a roof. Apply a layer of white waterproof paint to the wooden strips to enhance their appearance.
  4. Door and Drainage System: Use foam strips to拼接 (join) two discarded honeycomb wooden boards to make a simple door. Use a hole-opening tool to create a hole at the bottom of the barrel and install a drainage pipe to form a floor drain.
  5. Water Storage and Water Equipment Installation: Drill holes on the side and bottom of a plastic barrel and connect direct fittings. Place the plastic barrel on top of the roof to form a small water storage device. Connect the water pipes used for making a bath heater, install a three-way fitting below the inlet pipe, and connect it to a showerhead.
  6. Toilet Installation: Place the toilet on the hole of the drainage pipe and install the water tank. Secure the toilet with glass glue and connect the drainage pipe to the sewage barrel.
  7. Sink Installation: Horizontally connect a water pipe to the three-way fitting of the outlet pipe and extend it to the doorway as the inlet pipe for the sink. Install corresponding components at the joint.

Second Production Process

  1. Mobile Base Preparation: Take out a plastic pallet and fix a universal wheel at each of its four bottom corners.
  2. Water Storage Tank Treatment: Place a water storage tank recovered from a garbage station on the pallet. Use an angle grinder to cut along the marked line on the top of the tank to remove the top surface and form an open tank. Invert another open-top water storage tank and stack it on top of the first one. Securely fasten the outer frames of the two tanks together with self-tapping screws.
  3. Doorway and Drainage Hole Creation: Cut rectangular openings of appropriate sizes on the outer frame and tank body of the water storage tank to form a doorway. Use a hole-opening tool to create a hole on the ground inside the tank. Insert a elbow from the bottom upwards and cut in a section of water pipe. Seal the gaps with glue and then cut off the excess water pipe.
  4. Toilet and Water Equipment Installation: Place the toilet over the drainage hole and secure it with glue. Fix a water pipe on the wall clip and install a faucet. Secure a pipe cap with screws below the faucet. Connect a water pipe to the pipe cap and create a hole as the outlet for the drainage pipe. Apply glass glue to the pipe cap and fix a sink made of a stainless steel basin. Connect an inlet pipe to the toilet water tank, connect the hose of the showerhead, install a showerhead bracket, install a toilet seat, and a spray-type showerhead made of water pipes.
  5. Door Installation: Bring a wooden board, fix hinges on the frame of the water storage tank, and attach the other side of the hinges to the wooden board to form the door of the toilet. Reinstall a door handle on the door.
