Rural Mobile Toilet for Home Use Toilet
Admin October 07, 2026
There are various types of rural mobile toilets for home use, and you can choose the suitable product according to your needs.

I. Common Types
- Bucket Toilet Seat: It is installed on an idle bucket through fixed slots, quickly transforming an ordinary bucket into a mobile toilet. It has a simple structure and is cost-effective, suitable for temporary or emergency use. However, it requires regular cleaning of the waste in the bucket, and its stability depends on the quality of the bucket.
- Squat-to-Sit Toilet Converter: Designed specifically for the renovation of rural dry toilets, it adopts a straight-through ceramic toilet structure and can be installed in a mobile manner. This type of product combines the advantages of squat toilets and sit toilets, retaining the original drainage system while improving user comfort, making it suitable for long-term use scenarios.
- Compact Regular Toilet for Small Spaces: It does not require electricity and uses non-smart, plug-free siphon flushing technology. With a compact size (e.g., a 58cm model), it is suitable for rural households with limited space. Its flushing method relies on the siphon principle, which is water-saving and quiet, but it requires connection to water supply and drainage pipes.
- Vacuum Self-Priming Toilet: It uses vacuum negative pressure to achieve a low-water flush, suitable for rural areas with high freeze-proof requirements. Its split design facilitates installation, and it has a strong flushing force, effectively reducing odor residue, but its price is relatively high.
II. Target Users and Material Characteristics
Rural mobile toilets mainly serve groups such as the elderly with mobility issues, pregnant women, and the disabled. The design focuses on stability and slip resistance. Some products are made of ABS engineering resin, which has high strength, impact resistance, and corrosion resistance, and has a smooth and easy-to-clean surface. In addition, the built-in antibacterial additives can inhibit bacterial growth and reduce the risk of cross-infection, making them suitable for scenarios with high hygiene requirements.
III. Selection Suggestions
- According to the usage scenario: For temporary needs, a bucket toilet seat can be selected; for long-term renovation, a squat-to-sit toilet converter or a compact regular toilet is recommended; for cold regions, a vacuum self-priming toilet can be given priority.
- Pay attention to materials and safety: Give priority to durable materials such as ABS engineering resin and confirm whether the product has a non-slip base, a stable bracket, and other designs to ensure usage safety.
- Consider maintenance costs: Non-smart toilets are simple to maintain but require regular cleaning; vacuum self-priming toilets are water-saving but require inspection of the vacuum pump's operating status to ensure the flushing effect.
