Movable Toilet for Rural Courtyard

Admin October 05, 2026

There are mainly two solutions for movable toilets in rural courtyards: purchasing ready-made movable toilets and making them yourself.

Purchasing Ready-made Movable Toilets

There are various types of movable toilets available on the market.

  • Diverse Types: Common ones include container toilets, which have relatively large spaces, sturdy structures, and can accommodate multiple facilities; dry toilets, which have simple structures and low costs, suitable for scenarios with not particularly high sanitary requirements; and eco-friendly toilets, which adopt advanced treatment technologies to effectively reduce odors and pollution, being more environmentally friendly and hygienic.
  • Rich Materials: Materials include fiberglass, which has the characteristics of corrosion resistance and high strength; color-coated steel, which has a beautiful appearance and is relatively lightweight; steel structures, which are sturdy and durable and can withstand large external forces; and stainless steel, which has the advantages of rust prevention and easy cleaning.
  • Complete Functions: Some movable toilets are equipped with fecal tanks for convenient collection and treatment of feces, and some are even equipped with shower rooms to meet people's daily bathing needs. These movable toilets are suitable for various scenarios such as construction sites, outdoors, and rural toilet renovations.
  • Large Price Differences: The prices of movable toilets vary greatly depending on their types and configurations. For example, the price of a simple outdoor movable toilet ranges from 6100 yuan to 7751.5 yuan, and the prices of movable toilets with more complex functions and better-quality materials will be higher.

Making a Movable Toilet Yourself

If you have certain hands-on skills and relevant materials, you can also make a movable toilet yourself. For example, someone has made a simple movable toilet using materials such as buckets, wooden boards, and universal wheels. The bucket can serve as the fecal storage container for the toilet, the wooden boards are used to build the frame and make seats, etc., and the universal wheels facilitate the movement of the toilet. Through reasonable design and installation, this simple toilet also includes functions such as a toilet bowl and a showerhead, meeting basic usage needs. However, when making it yourself, you need to consider factors such as structural stability and sanitary conditions to ensure that the toilet you make is safe and practical.
