Runway Material Prefabricated House (Note: Actually a Prefabricated Rubber Roll Runway Material)

Admin September 17, 2026

The 'prefabricated runway material' is not used for house construction, but rather refers to a prefabricated rubber roll runway material produced in factories. The following provides a detailed introduction from the aspects of raw materials, structure, advantages, and disadvantages:

Raw materials: Its core is rubber, primarily a blend of natural rubber and synthetic rubbers (such as ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber and styrene-butadiene rubber). Natural rubber offers excellent elasticity and wear resistance, while synthetic rubbers enhance properties like weather resistance and anti-aging capabilities. The combination of the two endows the runway material with more comprehensive performance.

Structure: It typically features a double-layer composite structure. The top layer is a high-density, color-coated, wear-resistant surface layer that directly contacts athletes. Its high density and wear resistance ensure that the runway remains resistant to wear over long-term use, and the colorful design is not only aesthetically pleasing but also serves as a form of identification. The bottom layer is a highly elastic, foamed base layer. The foamed structure provides good elasticity, offering effective cushioning for athletes to reduce sports injuries. Additionally, the high elasticity helps the runway return to its original shape and maintain flatness. The two layers are integrally formed through high-temperature and high-pressure processes in the factory, ensuring the overall integrity and stability of the runway material.

Advantages: It has uniform thickness, ensuring consistent performance across all parts of the runway; excellent elasticity and shock absorption capabilities, effectively reducing the impact on athletes' joints during running; strong durability, resistant to ultraviolet rays and acid rain, and not prone to aging or damage during long-term outdoor use; long-lasting color that maintains good visual effects for an extended period; fast construction speed, with the runway ready for use just 24 hours after installation, significantly shortening the construction cycle; and minimal issues such as bulging or delamination in the later stages, resulting in low maintenance costs.

Disadvantages: It has a relatively high price compared to traditional runway materials, which to some extent limits its widespread application; the seams may crack when laid on curves. When laid in special areas like curves, due to the complex material expansion and stress conditions, the seams are prone to cracking, affecting the service life and safety of the runway.
