24. Dongguan BOX Basketball Print Alley — Basketball Center Container Street
The "top-tier market" is under full construction. The Dongguan Basketball Center container street sits by Gate 5 of Dongguan Basketball Center, next to Dongguan Sam's Club. Construction formally began at the end of September; some containers are already taking shape. Main works were largely finished by the end of November, with detail finishing and landscaping in early December. The project has a building area of about 6,124 sq m, formed from 168 containers across three floors. Unlike traditional markets, it stresses individuality and function and highlights local character.
With the theme "nature, sport, street," basketball elements and basketball-spirit slogans are woven into the containers and street surfaces, blending with Dongguan Bank Basketball Center. Targeting fans and sports enthusiasts as a core base, it aims to become a "fan living room" and a light-sport leisure destination in the city core. Looking ahead, it will combine sport, music, pets, and art to launch themed events, keep freshness flowing, strengthen brand identity, and grow into Dongguan's go-to trendy play and holiday check-in spot.
