Mobile Toilets for Room Renovation

Admin October 08, 2026

There are mainly three mobile toilet solutions for room renovation:

I. Mobile Bathroom Unit with Wet-Dry Separation Design This solution is suitable for room renovation scenarios with relatively ample space. Its standard dimensions are 2 meters in width and 3 meters in length. The overall appearance is pure white, visually simple and bright, and easy to integrate into various interior design styles. The structure features an aluminum alloy glass single-door design, ensuring both airtightness and enhanced spatial transparency. The sink and makeup mirror are placed in the external area, achieving wet-dry separation functionality, effectively preventing water vapor from eroding toilet equipment during showers and extending service life. Internally, it is typically equipped with a shower area, toilet area, and small storage space, with a level of functional completeness close to that of a traditional bathroom, suitable for long-term family use or scenarios with high hygiene requirements. Note that before installation, it is necessary to confirm the load-bearing capacity of the room floor and reserve drainage pipe connections.

II. Independent Mobile Toilet Unit This is a simple solution designed for nighttime use or caring for the elderly. The unit can be directly placed in a bedroom corner without requiring complex renovation work. Its core advantage lies in winter usability—through built-in insulation layers or external heating devices, it can maintain an appropriate seat temperature, preventing the elderly from getting cold during nighttime toilet visits. Some models are equipped with night lights, further reducing the risk of accidents during nighttime use. These units are compact in size (typically occupying less than 0.5 square meters), but require regular cleaning of the fecal storage tank and replacement of deodorizers, suitable for short-term emergency use or as supplementary facilities to the main bathroom. During installation, ensure the floor is level and reserve power outlets (if heating functionality is required).

III. Water Tank + Tray-Type Mobile Toilet This solution achieves flexible layout through modular design, with its core structure being a combination of a water tank and a tray with universal wheels. The water tank stores clean water for flushing, while the universal wheels installed at the four corners of the tray bottom support 360-degree rotation, facilitating easy movement within the room. This type of structure has relatively low costs (material costs approximately 500-1000 yuan), but requires manual water filling and regular waste water cleaning. It is suitable for rental property renovations or scenarios with limited budgets. When using, note the following: 1) The tray's load-bearing capacity must exceed 200kg to ensure safety; 2) The universal wheels must be equipped with brake devices to prevent sliding; 3) The water tank should be made of food-grade materials to avoid contamination. It is recommended to use with simple partitions to enhance privacy.

Selection Recommendations: For long-term use, prioritize the wet-dry separation unit; for caring for the elderly, choose the independent mobile toilet; for limited budgets, opt for the water tank solution. All solutions require advance planning of drainage paths and compliance with local building codes.
