How to Install a Rental Mobile Toilet
Admin September 27, 2026
The installation of a rental mobile toilet needs to be adjusted according to the type of equipment and site conditions. The specific steps are as follows:

I. Pre-installation Preparation
- Site Condition Confirmation Choose a flat and solid ground, avoiding areas with accumulated water or soft soil. If the ground is uneven, use gravel, steel plates, or special pads to pave it, ensuring the equipment is level and stable after placement.
- Drainage System Planning
- If there is a sewer on the site, communicate with the service provider in advance about the connection location and interface specifications;
- If there is no sewer, choose a toilet with a water storage function (such as a water storage tank type) or prepare a temporary drainage pipe (such as a hose connected to an external drainage outlet), and ensure a reasonable drainage slope to prevent sewage backflow.
- Accessory Inspection After receiving the equipment, immediately open the package and check the accessory list to confirm that key components such as the flushing system, drainage pipe, power cord, and door lock are complete, avoiding delays in installation due to missing parts.
II. Equipment Arrival and Assembly
- Transportation and Positioning Transport the modular-designed toilet to the designated location. Handle it with care during transportation to avoid collision damage. When placing it, keep the equipment level. It is recommended that the distance between adjacent equipment be no less than 1.5 meters to meet ventilation and usage requirements.
- Water and Electricity Facility Connection
- Power Connection: If the equipment requires lighting, deodorization, or automatic flushing functions, connect it to the power supply. Use sockets that meet the specifications, avoid unauthorized wire connections, and ensure electrical safety;
- Drainage Connection: Connect the drainage pipe to the sewer or water storage tank. The interface should be sealed with sealant or special clamps to prevent leakage. If a temporary drainage pipe is used, ensure the pipe is unobstructed and has a reasonable slope.
III. Post-installation Inspection and Debugging
- Function Testing Check components such as the flushing system (whether the water volume is sufficient and the flushing force meets the standard), the door lock (whether it opens and closes smoothly), and the exhaust fan (whether the air volume is sufficient) in sequence. Simulate usage to test the sensitivity and ensure there is no stuttering or malfunction.
- Cleaning and Maintenance After installation, wipe the inner and outer surfaces of the equipment with a neutral detergent, replace disposable items (such as toilet paper and hand sanitizer), and clean the surrounding ground to keep the environment tidy.
IV. Usage and Management Tips
- Daily Maintenance Regularly check the stock of consumables (such as toilet paper and hand sanitizer) and replenish them in a timely manner. Clean the trash can daily and perform a deep cleaning of the equipment weekly to prevent odors.
- Safety Precautions
- Do not overload the use (such as multiple people entering a small toilet at the same time);
- It is strictly prohibited to smoke or place flammable and explosive items in the toilet to avoid fires;
- If the equipment is left idle for a long time, disconnect the power supply and empty the water storage tank to prevent component aging.
If the rental service provider offers installation services, it is recommended to contact them first for technical support to ensure the operation meets the equipment requirements.
