What Types of Rentable Container Houses Are There
Admin September 16, 2026
There are various types of rentable container houses, mainly including residential container houses, foldable containers, flat-pack containers, packing-box units, color-steel houses, container panel houses, mobile temporary buildings, K-type panel houses, foldable color-steel panel houses, corrugated containers, welded containers, and container dormitory temporary buildings, etc.

Residential Container Houses:
- These are the most common rental type, primarily used for the accommodation of construction site workers, and are also purchased and rented by private individuals. Their advantages lie in their low cost and basic living functions.
Foldable Containers:
- Foldable containers are relatively simple to manufacture, with a neat appearance, stable structure, and few welded parts.
- They are easy to install and dismantle on-site, requiring the cooperation of 2-3 people and taking a relatively short time.
- The transportation cost is low, with a 6m car able to carry about 6 sets and a 17.5m flatbed truck able to carry about 20 sets.
- The storage cost is low, as they can be stacked and stored in multiple layers in one place.
- The usage cost is optimized, showing certain cost advantages compared to traditional color-panel houses and other types of container houses.
- They have fire-resistant properties, are earthquake-resistant, wind-resistant, and leak-proof, can be folded repeatedly and recycled, and meet relevant standards for emergency accommodation.
Flat-Pack Containers and Packing-Box Units:
- Flat-pack containers and packing-box units are also common rental types, usually used for temporary sites that require quick setup and dismantling, such as construction site offices and warehouses.
Color-Steel Houses and Container Panel Houses:
- Color-steel houses and container panel houses use color-steel plates as enclosure materials, featuring environmental protection, energy efficiency, and quick and efficient assembly and disassembly, achieving universal standardization for temporary buildings.
Mobile Temporary Buildings and K-Type Panel Houses:
- Mobile temporary buildings and K-type panel houses place more emphasis on mobility and flexibility, suitable for projects that require frequent relocation.
