Toilet Renovation and Relocation
Toilet renovation and relocation mainly involve toilet relocation or the renovation of mobile toilets, and the appropriate plan should be selected based on specific needs.

For toilet relocation, which means changing the original installation position of the toilet, the following common methods are available:
- Using a toilet offset connector: Suitable for short-distance adjustments, generally within 10 centimeters. A toilet offset connector is a pipe fitting with a certain slope. By connecting the toilet drain outlet and the original drain pipe, it enables minor adjustments to the toilet position. However, using a toilet offset connector may increase drainage resistance, leading to poor drainage and potential blockage issues. Therefore, it is essential to ensure that the slope of the offset connector is reasonable and the installation quality is good when using it.
- Raising the floor and re-laying pipes: When a larger-distance relocation is required, this method can be adopted. By raising the toilet floor to a certain height, typically 20 - 30 centimeters, and then re-laying the drain pipes in the raised space, the toilet drain outlet can be connected to the new drain pipes. This method can effectively solve drainage problems but occupies some indoor space, has a relatively high construction difficulty, and incurs higher costs.
- Switching to a wall-mounted toilet: The drain pipes of a wall-mounted toilet are hidden inside the wall, not occupying floor space, and allowing for relatively flexible relocation. The water tank and drain pipes can be installed inside the wall, and then the toilet can be hung on the wall to adjust its position. However, switching to a wall-mounted toilet requires wall modification, has a relatively complex construction process, and has certain requirements for the wall's load-bearing capacity.
- Drilling a new hole in the floor slab: This is a relatively extreme method, usually used when other methods cannot meet the requirements. It involves drilling a new hole in the floor slab, laying new drain pipes, and directing the toilet drainage to the drainage system on the lower floor. This method has a high construction difficulty, high costs, and may involve issues such as property management approval, so it should be considered carefully.
For the renovation of mobile toilets, taking conventional mobile toilets as an example, a gray and white color scheme can be adopted to create a simple and clean visual effect. The interior decoration should be simple and well-equipped, with separate male and female areas to meet different usage needs. The overall structure uses a steel frame welded for sturdiness and durability, ensuring the stability of the mobile toilet. Gray and white metal carved panels are used, which have thermal insulation, corrosion resistance, and can adapt to different environmental conditions. There are light and ventilation sliding windows at the front to ensure good internal air circulation and lighting. It is equipped with gray aluminum alloy exterior doors, which are both aesthetically pleasing and practical.
