Qualifications for Renovating Container Houses

Admin September 15, 2026

The qualifications required for renovating container houses mainly include quality management system certification, domestic and foreign relevant certifications, and proof of project delivery and after-sales implementation capabilities, as detailed below:

Quality Management System Certification

ISO9001 quality management system certification is a fundamental qualification. This certification demonstrates that the manufacturer has the capability to consistently produce qualified products, ensuring that the entire process of container house design, production, and installation is quality-controlled. For example, in emergency housing projects, manufacturers with this certification are more favored by disaster relief and public projects, as their product quality is more guaranteed and can meet the high reliability requirements of emergency scenarios.

Domestic and Foreign Relevant Certifications

  • Domestic Certifications: They must comply with current temporary building safety standards such as the "General Technical Conditions for Prefabricated Integrated Houses" JG/T550—2025, and pass fire resistance tests, wind and earthquake resistance certifications, etc. For instance, the fire resistance rating of container mobile homes must reach above B1, and the wind resistance rating must meet the requirements of the national standard GB/T 19001, which is above level 8, ensuring structural safety in coastal areas or strong wind conditions.
  • International Certifications: Exported products need to have international certifications such as CE and ISO. For overseas emergency projects, they also need to hold mandatory EU qualifications such as CPR(EU)305/2011 and EN 1090-1:2009+A1:2011. These certifications serve as passports for products to enter the international market, ensuring that they comply with safety, environmental protection, and other standards of the target market, and avoiding risks such as customs detention and non-compliance with certifications during export.

Proof of Project Delivery and After-sales Implementation Capabilities

  • Project Delivery Capability: This includes the assembly efficiency of a single container unit and the ability to deliver large-scale projects with hundreds of units. For example, manufacturers using factory prefabrication + non-welded bolt fast assembly technology can achieve rapid assembly within 48 hours, meeting the urgent implementation needs of emergency scenarios and demonstrating their strong project delivery capabilities.
  • After-sales Service Capability: Manufacturers need to establish a nationwide service network with a response time of no more than 24 hours. Comprehensive after-sales service can promptly resolve issues that arise during product use, ensuring the smooth progress of projects and reducing losses caused by delayed after-sales service.
