Regular Portable Toilet

Admin September 21, 2026

Regular portable toilets typically feature a gray and white color scheme, with a simple interior and complete configuration, offering characteristics such as portability, modularity, and ease of transportation.

Composition Structure

Portable toilets are generally composed of fecal sewage storage tanks (or fecal sewage treatment devices), floor slabs, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. These components work together to provide users with complete toilet functions. For example, the fecal sewage storage tank is used to collect and treat excreta, while the sanitary ware ensures hygiene during use.

Applicable Venues

They can be moved as a whole and placed at locations or venues with fixed or temporary needs, providing toilet services to the public and customers. Their scope of application is wide, including stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential areas, large construction sites, squares, densely populated public places, and bustling commercial streets. In these venues, portable toilets can flexibly meet people's toilet needs, especially in temporary events or construction sites where their advantages are more pronounced.

Development History and Classification

Portable toilets were initially made from materials such as wood, with simple structures and functions, and were prone to absorbing odors. Later, they gradually evolved to use materials such as fiberglass and polyethylene, improving durability and hygiene. According to structural form, they can be divided into single-structure portable toilets and composite-structure portable toilets; according to mobility, they can be divided into hoisting and handling portable toilets, powered and towed portable toilets; and according to sewage treatment methods, they can be divided into water-flush and non-water-flush suction portable toilets, circulating water-flush portable toilets, and dry-packing portable toilets. Different types of portable toilets play their respective advantages in different scenarios.

Design Principles

The design of portable toilets should adhere to the principles of portability and ease of movement, economic durability; environmental protection and ecological friendliness; and improving efficiency and promoting humanity. This not only requires that portable toilets can be easily moved and installed, but also considers their cost-effectiveness and environmental performance, while ensuring the comfort and convenience of users.
