Refrigerated Container House Materials

Admin September 15, 2026

The main materials for refrigerated container houses include steel, thermal insulation materials, interior and exterior wall panels, door and window materials, as well as flooring, reinforcement, and decorative materials selected according to needs.

  1. Steel: Steel is the primary structural support material for refrigerated container houses, including channel steel, angle steel, and steel plates. These steels have high strength and corrosion resistance, ensuring the structural safety of the house and enabling it to withstand natural disasters.

  2. Thermal Insulation Materials: Due to the deformation of steel under extreme temperatures, which affects the comfort of the house, thermal insulation materials are required in refrigerated container houses. Common thermal insulation materials include polyurethane foam, rock wool, and glass wool, which have excellent thermal insulation properties and can effectively maintain a stable internal temperature.

  3. Interior and Exterior Wall Panels: Both the interior and exterior of refrigerated container houses require panels for decoration and protection. Common panel materials include color-coated steel plates, calcium silicate boards, and cement fiber boards. These panels are not only aesthetically pleasing and durable but also provide some thermal insulation and sound insulation effects.

  4. Door and Window Materials: Refrigerated container houses need to be equipped with good door and window facilities to ensure ventilation and lighting. Aluminum alloy doors and windows are generally used, which are lightweight, aesthetically pleasing, and corrosion-resistant. Additionally, aluminum alloy has good thermal insulation properties, enhancing the comfort of the house.

  5. Other Materials: Depending on the different uses and special requirements of refrigerated container houses, other materials may also be needed for decoration and reinforcement. For example, flooring materials can be selected as moisture-proof wood grain boards; additional reinforcement materials can be used to enhance the stability of the house; and waterproof systems and sound insulation materials are also important options for improving house performance.
