Quick Assembly Container House Roof
The installation of a quick-assembly container house roof needs to be carried out in combination with the structural type, roof design, and construction specifications. The core points include structural selection, design of the roof load transfer path, waterproofing treatment, and installation accuracy control. The following is an analysis from the perspectives of technical logic and construction key points:

I. Structural Type and Roof Design
The structure of the container house roof directly affects the installation method and stability. The roof of a welded integral container forms a direct load-bearing path with the side wall columns and bottom beams. The load is transferred through the side walls to the bottom beams and then evenly distributed to the ground. It has strong resistance to deformation and is suitable for scenarios requiring frequent lifting and movement. The roof of a bolted assembled container is composed of standard panels connected by bolts. There are multiple connection nodes in the load-bearing path, and it is necessary to focus on checking the tightness of these nodes to avoid overall instability caused by local loosening. The roof design should be combined with the usage scenario: A double-slope roof can effectively prevent snow and water accumulation and is suitable for alpine or rainy regions. A flat roof requires strengthening the waterproof layer and drainage system to avoid leakage caused by long-term water accumulation.
II. Roof Load Transfer and Foundation Treatment
The roof load needs to be transferred to the ground through the structure, and foundation treatment is crucial. The roof load of a welded container is directly transferred through the side wall columns to the bottom beams. Since the contact area between the bottom beams and the ground is limited, a concrete strip foundation (with a width of 30-50 centimeters and a depth determined according to the frost line) needs to be poured to ensure that the horizontal error of the foundation top surface does not exceed 5 millimeters. Due to the many nodes of a bolted assembled container, thin steel sheets should be added between the foundation and the bottom beams to pad them firmly and avoid floor vibration or abnormal noise caused by local suspension. For short-term usage scenarios, precast concrete blocks or steel pads can be used, but a crushed stone leveling layer should be laid to ensure that the load-bearing points are on the same horizontal plane.
III. Roof Waterproofing and Material Selection
Roof waterproofing is the core for the long-term use of container houses. Hot-dip galvanized coating has a longer anti-corrosion lifespan than cold-dip galvanized coating and is especially suitable for regions with large diurnal temperature differences and significant humidity changes, effectively delaying the rusting of the container body. The roof material needs to have fireproof and heat-insulating properties: Sandwich panels (such as rock wool and polyurethane) are common choices. It is necessary to ensure that the density of the sandwich layer meets the standards to avoid stuffiness in summer and insufficient insulation in winter. Sealing strips or waterproof coatings should be used at the connections between doors, windows, and the roof to prevent rainwater leakage.
IV. Installation Accuracy and Construction Specifications
The roof installation requires strict control of accuracy. During hoisting and positioning, steel wire ropes with sufficient bearing capacity should be used to ensure that all lifting points bear the load synchronously and avoid container body distortion caused by unilateral loading. After the container body is in place, a level should be used to detect the longitudinal and transverse levelness of the bottom beams, with an error controlled within 2 millimeters per meter. During roof assembly, the gaps between the panels should be checked to ensure that the sealant is filled evenly and prevent rainwater infiltration. For detachable roofs, maintenance passages should be reserved for easy later maintenance.
