Quanzhou Bus Mobile Toilet
The bus mobile toilets in Quanzhou are special public toilet facilities set up by the Licheng District Urban Management Bureau during holidays to provide tourism support services.
Setup Locations and Commissioning Status:
Before the May Day holiday, the Licheng District Urban Management Bureau planned to set up mobile toilet buses at four locations: Quanzhou Cinema, Zhongmin Baihui Xinhua Store, Chengtian Lane Entrance, and Tianhou Palace. On the morning of the 24th, two buses were officially put into use at Quanzhou Cinema and Zhongmin Baihui Xinhua Store respectively, with the remaining two expected to be in place before the holiday.
Internal Structure and Facility Configuration:
These mobile toilet buses look no different from ordinary buses on the outside, but they are quite unique inside. Upon entering, there is a hand-washing area equipped with a sink, mirror, push-type hand sanitizer dispenser, and hand dryer, facilitating hand cleaning for users. On both sides of the carriage are men's and women's toilets, with a total of 8 single rooms, including 6 for women and 2 for men, as well as 4 men's urinals to meet the needs of different users. In addition, they are equipped with an exhaust system to promptly remove odors and keep the air inside fresh; a temperature control system to adjust the interior temperature according to the external environment, providing a comfortable toilet environment; and assistive handrails and other facilities to facilitate use by those with mobility issues, enhancing user comfort.
Hygiene Assurance Measures:
In response to the peak passenger flow during holidays, the Licheng District Urban Management Bureau has assigned dedicated cleaning staff to each mobile toilet bus, adopting a "clean after each use" approach, meaning that cleaning staff will promptly clean up after each use to ensure the interior is clean and tidy. At the same time, deodorizers are provided inside the buses to further eliminate odors and offer users a good toilet experience.
