In 2025, Pudong New Area will comprehensively renovate seven mobile public toilets located at Haitong Road Meihua Road, Lujiazui Central Green Space Gate No. 2, Pudong Avenue No. 2670, Zhangyang Road Miaopu Road, Wulian Road Heze Road, Century Avenue Weifang Road, and Lianming Road. The newly procured mobile public toilets strictly adhere to human-centered design principles, with separate male and female toilet compartments set up proportionally to reasonably meet the needs of users of different genders. Additionally, a third toilet is separately set up to provide an independent and private space for special groups such as the disabled, the elderly, and parents with young children. Furthermore, the toilets are equipped with barrier-free access to facilitate entry and exit for wheelchair users and other individuals with mobility impairments, reflecting the inclusiveness and universality of public facilities.
II. Project Funding Arrangement
The total investment for this project is 2.485 million yuan, with funding sourced from two parts: In 2025, the new area's finance will allocate 1.2 million yuan to initiate the project and advance part of the construction work; the insufficient portion will be included in the 2026 departmental budget to ensure sufficient project funding and avoid affecting the project schedule or quality due to funding shortages. This phased and multi-channel funding arrangement model not only guarantees the smooth implementation of the project but also reflects the scientific and rational use of financial funds.
III. Project Bidding Results
The Pudong New Area mobile toilet renovation project was won by Tongli Environmental Protection Technology Nantong Co., Ltd., with a bid amount of 2,456,000.00 yuan. The winning product is the "Tongli Customized Mobile Toilet," totaling seven units, with a unit price of 350,857.00 yuan. The winning enterprise is required to strictly comply with contract requirements, provide mobile public toilets that meet design standards and are of reliable quality, and ensure timely delivery for use. This bid win not only demonstrates the enterprise's professional capabilities in the field of mobile public toilets but also provides strong support for the construction of public facilities in Pudong New Area.
