How to Use Public Mobile Toilets
Admin September 29, 2026
The steps for using public mobile toilets are as follows:

I. Entering the Public Toilet
Before entering, observe the direction in which the door opens and gently push or pull to avoid collisions. After entering, close the door promptly. If equipped with a lock, turn the lock to ensure privacy. Some mobile toilet doors are designed with automatic rebound locks; confirm the locked state before use.
II. Using the Public Toilet
- Adapting to the Toilet Type
- Squat Toilet: Place both feet on the designated footrest area to avoid stepping on the edge of the toilet to prevent slipping or damaging the equipment.
- Sit-down Toilet: Can be used directly, but pay attention to the cleanliness of the seat. Some public toilets provide disposable seat covers or disinfectant sprays.
- Hygiene Maintenance
- Do not throw paper towels, cigarette butts, sanitary products, or other debris into the toilet; dispose of them in the designated trash bin.
- If the public toilet is equipped with a wastebasket, ensure it is not full to avoid clogging the pipes.
- Facility Operation
- Before using the sink, observe the type of faucet (manual/sensor-activated) to avoid forcing it and causing damage.
- Operate hand-drying equipment (such as paper towel dispensers or hot-air hand dryers) according to the instructions; do not tear or slap the equipment.
III. Cleaning Up and Leaving
- Choosing the Flushing Method
- Water-flush Toilets: Press the flush button or wait for sensor-activated flushing to ensure all waste is flushed away. Check the water level in the freshwater tank; if it is low, contact the management staff.
- Waterless Toilets:
- Biodegradable Type: Press the button to add degrading agents to promote fecal decomposition.
- Packing Type: Insert a special packing bag into the stainless-steel packing device. After using the toilet, step on the push rod to roll the waste into the storage tank. When the bags are depleted, an alarm will sound, and they need to be replaced promptly.
- Foam-sealed Toilets: Ensure an adequate supply of foaming liquid; if the foam decreases, contact for replenishment to prevent waste overflow.
- Handwashing Procedure
- Use hand soap to rub your hands for at least 20 seconds, rinse, and dry with a paper towel, disposing of the trash in the bin.
- Leaving Protocol
- Unlock the door (if applicable), gently push the door to confirm it is closed, and avoid using excessive force that could deform the door.
IV. Precautions
- Facility Protection: Do not dismantle, move, or damage toilets, sinks, lighting equipment, etc. Violators may be liable for compensation.
- Public Hygiene: Do not spit, urinate, defecate, or scribble anywhere; keep the public toilet environment clean.
- Safety Warnings: Pay attention to non-slip floor markings and avoid running in slippery areas; if equipment failure is detected (such as electric shock or strong odors), leave immediately and contact the management staff.
