Public Mobile Convenient Toilet

Admin September 24, 2026

A public mobile convenient toilet, also known as a mobile toilet, is a movable facility designed to meet the temporary or fixed toilet needs of the public.

I. Basic Composition and Materials Mobile toilets consist of core components such as fecal sewage storage tanks (or disposal units), floor slabs, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. They are equipped with complete sanitary ware inside and can be customized with 1-6 squatting positions. Their materials have been upgraded from wood to lightweight, high-strength materials such as fiberglass and polyethylene, ensuring both structural stability and improved durability and environmental friendliness. For example, economical and practical models often feature white steel structural frames with complete water and electricity configurations, allowing them to be put into use simply by connecting pipelines after installation.

II. Classification and Functional Characteristics

  1. Structural Form: Mobile toilets are divided into single-unit structures (independent units) and composite structures (multi-unit combinations), adapting to different spatial requirements.
  2. Mobility Methods: They include lifting and handling types (relying on lifting equipment) and powered towing types (tractable for movement), enabling flexible deployment in various scenarios.
  3. Sewage Treatment Methods:
    • Flush Type: Water is supplied from a tank for flushing, requiring a配套 (matching) sewage storage tank or external drainage system.
    • Waterless Suction Type: Vacuum suction is used to collect feces, which are then periodically transported for treatment, suitable for water-scarce areas.
    • Recirculating Flush Type: Sewage is purified and reused through biological degradation or physical filtration, conserving water resources.
    • Dry Packing Type: Degradable bags are used to package feces, eliminating the need for flushing and offering environmental friendliness and simple maintenance.

III. Application Scenarios and Advantages Mobile toilets overcome terrain limitations and are widely deployed in population-dense areas such as stations, docks, tourist attractions, construction sites, and squares, especially suitable for temporary events (e.g., exhibitions, music festivals) or remote outdoor scenarios. Their core advantages include:

  • Mobility: They can be quickly transported to locations where they are needed and removed after events, avoiding resource waste.
  • Flexibility: The number of units can be adjusted according to pedestrian traffic density, such as adding units during peak hours in commercial districts or scheduling them seasonally in remote scenic areas.
  • Environmental Friendliness: Some models adopt water-saving technologies or zero-emission designs, reducing their impact on the environment.

For example, a scenic spot alleviated toilet pressure and reduced sewage discharge during the peak tourist season by adding recirculating flush-type mobile toilets, demonstrating a balance between functionality and environmental protection.
