Diagram of House Construction on Prefabricated Slab Roof

Admin September 19, 2026

Currently, there is no complete diagram directly provided for constructing a house on a prefabricated slab roof, but the key points and methods of construction can be outlined based on relevant case descriptions.

Case 1: Simple Placement Construction In a self-built house with two and a half floors, the first-floor slab uses prefabricated five-hole slabs. During construction, the prefabricated slabs are directly placed on the walls. This construction method is relatively simple but has certain limitations. Since the house lacks inter-floor ring beams, the overall structural stability is relatively poor, making it only suitable for simple house construction with low structural requirements and small loads. If a similar method is used for constructing a house on the roof, it is necessary to ensure that the original roof structure can bear the weight of the newly added house. Additionally, the connection and waterproofing between the prefabricated slabs must be considered. If placed directly, there may be gaps between the slabs, which can easily lead to rainwater leakage. Waterproofing measures, such as using waterproof glue or laying waterproof membranes, should be taken at the gaps.

Case 2: Arrangement of Prefabricated Slabs on a Sloped Roof Some houses place five-hole prefabricated slabs on a sloped roof, and neatly arranged slabs can be seen from the side of the house. This construction method is usually used for the renovation or addition of sloped-roof houses. During construction, it is necessary to first evaluate and reinforce the structure of the sloped roof to ensure it can bear the weight of the prefabricated slabs. The slabs should be arranged neatly and orderly to ensure the flatness and stability of the roof. At the same time, attention should be paid to the connection between the slabs and the original structure of the sloped roof. Welding or bolt-fixing methods can be used to enhance the firmness of the connection. In addition, insulation and heat insulation measures for the roof should be taken, such as laying insulation materials and heat insulation layers above the slabs.

Case 3: Construction of a House by Combining Special Prefabricated Slabs When constructing a house by combining special prefabricated slabs, first build the overall frame of the house and then拼接 (assemble) the slabs. The gaps between the slabs are filled with foam glue, which not only serves as a seal but also provides a certain buffering effect. Reservations are made on the sides for skylights and entrances for convenience of use. Thick prefabricated slabs are assembled to form seamless walls, improving the overall integrity and sealing of the house. When building the roof, a circular skylight tray is propped up in the middle, fixed with crossbeams around it, and covered with thick wooden boards on top. This construction method is relatively complex and requires a professional construction team and precise design. If this method is used for constructing a house on the roof, the load-bearing capacity and spatial layout of the roof must be considered to ensure that the constructed house is both safe and practical.
