Prefabricated Slab House Reinforcement Video

Admin September 18, 2026

Currently, no publicly available resources providing complete videos on the reinforcement of prefabricated slab houses have been found, but reinforcement methods can be understood through relevant technical explanations and process descriptions. The following provides an introduction from two aspects: reinforcement process and technical key points.

Reinforcement Process

  • Structural Safety Assessment: This is the first step in reinforcement. Professionals will conduct a detailed inspection of the overall structure of the prefabricated slab house, including the load-bearing capacity of the prefabricated slabs and the stability of the house. Through professional testing equipment and computational analysis, they will determine whether there are any safety hazards in the house and the specific parts that require reinforcement. For example, they will check for cracks or deformations in the prefabricated slabs and assess their impact on the overall structure of the house.
  • Temporary Support System Construction: Before reinforcement construction, a temporary support system needs to be constructed to ensure structural safety during the construction process. Temporary supports can be made of materials such as steel pipe scaffolding or wooden supports and should be reasonably arranged according to the structural characteristics of the house and the parts to be reinforced. For example, when removing walls or replacing beams, the temporary supports should be able to bear the weight of the upper structure to prevent the house from collapsing.
  • Steel Beam Replacement: For beams that need to be replaced or reinforced, the method of steel beam replacement is adopted. First, install the new steel beam, then gradually transfer the load of the upper structure to the steel beam, and finally remove the original beam. Steel beam replacement requires precise calculation of the load and the size of the steel beam to ensure that the steel beam can bear the weight of the upper structure.
  • Slab Joint Treatment: The slab joints between prefabricated slabs are one of the key parts for reinforcement. Slab joint treatment can adopt methods such as grouting and pasting carbon fiber cloth. Grouting can improve the compactness and load-bearing capacity of the slab joints, and pasting carbon fiber cloth can enhance the crack resistance of the slab joints.

Technical Key Points

  • Reinforcement Logic for Hole Drilling in Prefabricated Floor Slabs: If holes need to be drilled in the prefabricated floor slabs, an appropriate reinforcement method should be selected according to the location of the holes. When drilling holes in the mid-span position, since the mid-span is a part of the floor slab that bears a large load, carbon fiber cloth can be used for reinforcement to improve the flexural capacity of the floor slab; when drilling holes at the edge of the support, fill with polymer mortar to enhance the load-bearing capacity of the support.
  • Material Selection: The quality of reinforcement materials directly affects the reinforcement effect. For example, carbon fiber cloth should be selected as a product with reliable quality and high strength; polymer mortar should have good bonding performance and durability. At the same time, according to the structural characteristics of the house and the reinforcement requirements, the specifications and models of the reinforcement materials should be reasonably selected.
