Installation Process of Prefabricated Panel Houses

Admin September 18, 2026

The installation process of prefabricated panel houses varies depending on the type of prefabricated panels, mainly divided into the installation processes of prefabricated partition walls and prefabricated composite panels, as detailed below:

Installation Process of Prefabricated Partition Walls

  1. Tool and Base Layer Preparation
Before construction, ensure that the environment meets standards. Check the flatness and strength of the ground base layer and complete the construction of the ground beam (process: line snapping → rebar planting → formwork erection → grouting → full grouting → formwork removal → curing). At the same time, prepare materials such as galvanized square tubes, prefabricated welded connectors, films, and varnish, and ensure that construction personnel have completed technical disclosures.

  2. Mold Making
Build a mold frame using galvanized square tubes according to the design dimensions. Lay a film inside the frame to prevent concrete adhesion and facilitate subsequent demolding. The mold must ensure precise dimensions to avoid affecting the structural strength of the prefabricated panels.

  3. Prefabricated Panel Production
Place a steel mesh inside the mold to enhance structural strength. Pour concrete and vibrate it densely to ensure no voids. Precisely implant prefabricated welded connectors into the concrete for subsequent fixation to the walls and ceiling. After the concrete naturally sets and reaches the design strength, remove the formwork according to specifications.

  4. Prefabricated Panel Installation
Accurately align the embedded parts of the prefabricated panels with those of the ground beam, walls, and ceiling, and firmly fix them through welding. The welding must meet strength requirements to ensure the stability of the partition walls.

  5. Stone Paving
Drill holes and install hangers according to the design positions. Finely grind and trim the surfaces and joints of the stones. Pave the stones using the wet-laying method to ensure flatness and aesthetics.

Installation Process of Prefabricated Composite Panels

  1. Lifting Preparation
Use a lifting steel beam as the lifting device to ensure even force distribution at the lifting points and avoid distortion or cracking of the components. Before lifting, inspect the appearance of the composite panels and the positions of the embedded parts to confirm no damage.

  2. Lifting and Positioning
Slowly lift the composite panels to above the installation position using a tower crane and initially fix them with temporary supports or adjustment pieces. Adjust the levelness and elevation of the composite panels to ensure tight connections with surrounding components.

  3. Fixing and Connection
Use welding or bolt connection methods to firmly fix the composite panels to beams, columns, and other structures. The connections must meet seismic and load-bearing requirements to ensure the overall structural safety.

Precautions: For the installation of special components such as prefabricated bay windows, additional elevation control lines and adjustment bolts are required. Use temporary positioning pieces to assist in installation. The process is similar to that of composite panels but requires higher precision.
