Dimensions and Specifications of Prefabricated Panel Houses
The dimensions and specifications of prefabricated panel houses mainly include four aspects: length, width, thickness, and live load-bearing capacity, as detailed below:

Length (Span): The length specifications of ordinary prefabricated panels are quite diverse, with common options including 3000mm, 3300mm, 3600mm, 3900mm, and 4200mm. Among these, the 4200mm ordinary panel is the most widely used. Additionally, there are special panels with lengths of 3800mm and 4000mm, with the 3800mm special panel being relatively more frequently used. For residential purposes, the maximum length of prefabricated panels is typically 4.2 meters; if a longer length is required, customization is necessary.
Width: The width specifications of prefabricated panels mainly include three options: 400mm, 500mm, and 600mm. Among these, the 400mm-wide prefabricated panel is usually designed with a four-hole structure, while the 500mm-wide panel has a five-hole structure. These two width specifications are the most commonly used in applications.
Thickness: The thickness specifications of prefabricated panels are relatively simple, with commonly used options being 120mm and 150mm. These two thicknesses can meet the needs of most house construction projects, providing sufficient structural strength and stability.
Live Load-Bearing Capacity: The live load-bearing capacity of prefabricated panels is classified based on the magnitude of the live load they can withstand. Panels that can bear a live load of 1kN/m² are classified as Grade I panels, those that can bear 2kN/m² are classified as Grade II panels, and so on, with Grade III and Grade IV panels also available. In general housing construction, Grade I and Grade II panels usually meet the requirements. However, in certain regions or for houses with specific uses, the requirements for the live load-bearing capacity of prefabricated panels may be higher, with the minimum standard possibly reaching Grade IV. Therefore, when selecting prefabricated panels, it is necessary to determine their live load-bearing capacity based on the specific usage environment and requirements.
