Prefabricated Panel Hoisting Wheel

Admin September 18, 2026

The selection of hoisting wheels for prefabricated house panels should be based on a comprehensive assessment of the panel's size, weight, and construction scenario. Common tools include roof panel installation transport vehicles, household small hoisting wheels, and manual pulleys, among others. Here is a detailed analysis:

Roof panel installation transport vehicles are specialized equipment for installing roof prefabricated panels. Their core components include front and rear triangular brackets, support beams, electric hoists, and channel steel tracks. The electric hoist achieves vertical lifting through steel wire ropes, enabling precise control of the panel's ascent and descent in the central roof area. The cooperation between the rollers and the tracks supports the equipment's linear movement, making it particularly suitable for lifting steel components in areas with varying heights. The technical advantages of this equipment lie in its stable structure and strong load-bearing capacity, which can meet the lifting needs of large prefabricated panels. However, the equipment cost is relatively high, requires professional operation, and necessitates advance planning of track layout, making it suitable for large-scale construction scenarios.

Although household small hoisting wheels are primarily designed for vertical lifting of small items in high-rise residential buildings, their design principles can be extended to short-distance lifting of lightweight prefabricated panels. This tool employs a pulley structure and uses polyester pull cords for load-bearing, with a maximum load capacity of 50 kilograms, although the recommended ideal lifting weight does not exceed 3 kilograms. Its advantages include strong portability and simple operation, with safety risks reduced through anti-drop safety clips. However, if the weight of the prefabricated panel exceeds the recommended value or long-distance lifting is required, potential safety hazards may arise due to pull cord deformation or pulley jamming. Therefore, its applicability should be carefully evaluated based on the actual weight of the prefabricated panel and the lifting distance.

Manual pulleys represent a classic solution for moving small prefabricated panels. They require drilling holes in the upper part of the panel to fix the pulleys and achieve horizontal or vertical movement through rope traction. Their advantages include low cost and high flexibility, without the need for complex equipment support. However, it is essential to avoid drilling holes in structurally weak areas of the panel and to require multiple people to collaborate in controlling the direction of movement. Additionally, air cushion vehicles reduce friction by inflating air cushions, enabling the movement of heavy prefabricated panels. However, they require precise control of the number of air cushions and inflation pressure, as well as a high degree of ground flatness, making them suitable for short-distance adjustments on indoor flat surfaces.

In summary, for lifting large prefabricated panels, it is recommended to prioritize the use of roof panel installation transport vehicles; for short-distance lifting of lightweight prefabricated panels, household small hoisting wheels or manual pulleys can be attempted; and for adjusting heavy prefabricated panels indoors, air cushion vehicles can be considered. Before operation, it is crucial to strictly evaluate the load-bearing capacity of the tools, the construction environment, and safety risks, and consult professional engineers if necessary.
