Prefabricated Panel Factory Building Roof
In the application of factory building roofs, prefabricated panels mainly include types such as prefabricated sandwich panels, prefabricated assembled lightweight panels, prestressed roof panels, and expanded stone panels, each with its own characteristics.

Prefabricated sandwich panels are pressed into finished products in the factory in one go, with upper and lower color-coated steel plates and an intermediate core material formed into a single piece. They are transported to the construction site and directly hoisted and laid. They are standardized finished panels, and the construction is relatively simple. However, they have the obvious drawback of joint gaps. In the application of photovoltaic factory buildings, if the roof is fully covered with photovoltaic panels, the cost of water leakage repair in the later stage is relatively high.
Prefabricated assembled lightweight panels have been applied in steel structure factory building projects in Golmud. They have an internal thermal insulation core material, with a framework made of galvanized cold-formed thin-walled steel or angle steel trusses. The upper and lower parts are covered with special panels and combined into a whole through connectors. This structure ensures thermal insulation and fire resistance performance as well as sufficient load-bearing capacity. At the same time, it has a fast construction speed and a light load, making it suitable for factory buildings with high requirements for construction efficiency and structural performance.
Prestressed roof panels are usually custom-produced by professional manufacturers according to engineering drawings. They have a flexible span range, with conventional products covering spans from 9 meters to 30 meters or even larger, and various cross-sectional forms. Their additional functions can also be customized, such as thermal insulation layers for low-temperature cold storages and corrosion-resistant coatings for chemical factory buildings, meeting the needs of different special factory buildings.
Expanded stone panels belong to steel-framed composite prefabricated panels. They are prefabricated from galvanized steel frames, expanded stone inorganic core materials, and internal steel wire meshes. They are commonly divided into specifications such as roof panels and can be customized according to project requirements. They are lightweight, effectively reducing the load on the main structure. They have stable fire resistance performance, come with thermal insulation and sound insulation effects, and have a simple construction process, effectively shortening the construction period. They are a good choice for factory building projects that pursue fast construction and comprehensive performance.
