Procurement of Prefabricated Mobile Toilets

Admin October 11, 2026

When procuring prefabricated mobile toilets, it is essential to consider aspects such as project cases, suppliers, technical requirements, application scenarios, and brands and materials.

Procurement Project Case: The second batch of mobile toilet (prefabricated toilet) allocation projects for key tourist routes in 2024 was open for bidding, with project number SSQYZB-CG2025014 and a budget of 3,752,500 yuan. Package 1 has a budget of 2,800,000 yuan for the purchase of prefabricated mobile toilets for the G219 highway and Urapo Ancient City, among others; Package 2 has a budget of 952,500 yuan for the purchase of vehicle-mounted mobile toilets for the Ahe Highway, among others. The contract performance period requires installation to be completed and accepted for use within three months from the date of contract signing, and the project is specifically targeted at small and micro enterprises for procurement.

Supplier Situation: Suppliers of urban smart public toilet stations are responsible for the overall design and production, adopting a modular production approach that divides the public toilet stations into three main parts: the main structure, internal functional modules, and smart systems. The main structure often uses light steel structures or new composite materials. Light steel structures offer advantages such as high strength, light weight, and fast construction, while new composite materials are characterized by corrosion resistance and good weather resistance. Internal functional modules are flexibly configured according to the foot traffic and usage scenarios of the site, such as increasing the number of squatting positions in areas with high foot traffic. The smart system covers a variety of functions, and some products are also equipped with solar photovoltaic panels or rainwater harvesting devices to achieve energy conservation and environmental protection.

Technical Requirements: Most manufacturers produce in accordance with the 'Urban Public Toilet Design Standard' (CJJ 14) and local smart city construction guidelines, generally focusing on the safety and stability of the structure to ensure that the toilets can withstand various natural environments and human factors; the hygiene and ease of cleaning of internal facilities for convenient daily cleaning and maintenance; and the compatibility and scalability of the smart system for easy subsequent upgrades and modifications. Currently, there is no unified national mandatory standard in the industry.

Application Scenarios: The products have covered a variety of environments such as urban parks, tourist attractions, transportation hubs, commercial districts, and municipal squares. Using a prefabricated construction method, it usually takes only a few weeks from production to on-site installation, and the construction process has a minimal impact on the surrounding environment. Manufacturers will make customized adjustments according to the specific site's water supply and drainage and power conditions.

Brands and Materials: There are numerous brands of prefabricated mobile toilets, including Baitai, Ronghua, Jinhong Pipeline, etc. The materials include stainless steel, steel structures, aluminum-plastic panels, anti-corrosion wood, and others, with different materials having different characteristics and applicable scenarios.
