Methods for Constructing Prefabricated House Roofs
There are several methods for constructing prefabricated house roofs, including the use of prefabricated concrete blocks, prefabricated hollow brick assembly for floor roofs, and prefabricated panels for sloped roofs.

Prefabricated Concrete Block Construction: Workers abroad often use this method to build the roof base layer. The design of prefabricated concrete blocks is ingenious, featuring precisely positioned protrusions on both sides. During construction, two rows of wooden planks are laid in advance, forming a bidirectional ribbed beam structure. The prefabricated concrete blocks are then placed on the ribbed beams, with the protrusions on the blocks precisely engaging with the beams to ensure the structural stability of the entire roof base layer. Additionally, certain gaps are left during construction to accommodate the thermal expansion and contraction of materials, preventing damage such as cracks in the roof due to temperature changes and ensuring the roof's service life and safety.
Prefabricated Hollow Brick Assembly for Floor Roofs: This technique, also known as block-type assembled floor roofs, is popular in arid regions such as the Middle East and Africa. The construction process is relatively simple, requiring no concrete pouring or mortar application. During construction, a steel frame structure is first erected, and then prefabricated hollow bricks are laid one by one on the steel frame, essentially completing the roof. This approach fully utilizes the characteristics of prefabricated hollow bricks, reducing the roof's weight while meeting its load-bearing and thermal insulation requirements to a certain extent. Moreover, it offers fast construction speed and relatively low costs.
Prefabricated Panels for Sloped Roofs: Five-hole prefabricated panels are neatly arranged on a slope, and a horizontal panel is installed at the end to prevent the prefabricated panels from sliding off. However, this method poses certain safety risks. If the house lacks a ring beam, in the event of natural disasters such as earthquakes, the prefabricated panels placed on the walls may collapse due to vibrations, posing a severe threat to the safety of occupants and property inside the house. Therefore, when choosing this method, it is essential to fully consider the house's seismic performance and take appropriate reinforcement measures.
