Plastic Molds for Prefabricated Houses Along the Line

Admin September 19, 2026

The commonly used plastic molds for prefabricated houses along the line mainly include two types: eaves cover plate molds and European-style component eaves line molds, which differ in function, price, and applicable scenarios.

Eaves cover plate molds, represented by the Zhengtong brand in Baoding, Hebei, are primarily used for the production of cast-in-place eaves panels or cement concrete prefabricated parts. These molds are made of plastic and are relatively affordable, costing only 12 yuan per set. Their core function is to ensure the dimensional accuracy and surface flatness of eaves panels through mold forming, while simplifying the construction process. During use, cement concrete is poured into the mold, and after solidification, the mold is removed to obtain standardized eaves panels, suitable for eaves coverage on ordinary residential or simple buildings.

European-style component eaves line molds, exemplified by products from Foshan Mengzhu Building Materials Co., Ltd., are specifically designed for the exterior wall decoration of high-end buildings such as villas. These molds are made of ABS engineering plastic, offering higher strength and weather resistance, with a price range of 20-500 yuan and a minimum order quantity of 5 square meters. Their types include eaves line molds, which can prefabricate European-style eaves lines with clear textures and complex shapes, such as wavy and carved patterns. During construction, the mold is fixed to the edge of the eaves, and cement is poured to directly press out patterns without secondary processing, significantly enhancing the elegance and artistic sense of the building's appearance.

The common advantages of these two types of molds lie in improving construction efficiency through standardized design, while utilizing the lightweight and moldability of plastic materials to reduce production costs. The differences are mainly reflected in the application scenarios: eaves cover plate molds focus on functionality, meeting basic waterproofing and coverage needs; while European-style component molds emphasize decoration, suitable for projects with high architectural aesthetic requirements. Additionally, ABS engineering plastic molds are more durable and can be reused more times, making them more cost-effective in the long run.

In practical applications, the choice of mold should be based on the building type, budget, and design requirements. Ordinary residential buildings can prioritize eaves cover plate molds to control costs; while villas or commercial buildings are recommended to use European-style component molds to achieve personalized decorative effects through customized patterns.
