Prefabricated House National Standard Size Images

Admin September 18, 2026

Currently, there are no images of the national standard sizes for prefabricated houses, but textual descriptions of the national standard sizes for prefabricated panels are available.

As a commonly used component in construction, prefabricated panels have clearly defined national standard sizes. The following introduces them from several key dimensions: span, width, thickness, live load rating, and length.

Span: The maximum span of prefabricated panels for residential use is 4.2 meters and does not follow modular specifications. If the span required in actual projects exceeds 4.2 meters, custom production is necessary to meet specific construction needs.

Width: Common width specifications for prefabricated panels are 500mm and 600mm. Additionally, there are width types such as four-hole 400mm and five-hole 500mm, with different widths suitable for various building layouts and structural requirements.

Thickness: Common thicknesses of prefabricated panels are 120mm and 150mm. The choice of thickness is usually closely related to factors such as the building's load requirements, usage functions, and structural safety. Thicker prefabricated panels generally can withstand greater loads.

Live Load Rating: Prefabricated panels commonly used in residential buildings are classified into Class I and Class II. Class I panels can withstand a live load of 1kN/m² and are suitable for building areas with relatively low load requirements; Class II panels can withstand a live load of 2kN/m² and can meet usage scenarios with slightly higher loads. In the southwest region, it is stipulated that Class IV panels, which can withstand a live load of up to 4kN/m², must be used at a minimum, taking into account the special geographical environment and construction needs of the area.

Length: The length of prefabricated panels is generally produced according to a 300mm modulus. Common length specifications include 3000mm, 3300mm, 3600mm, 3900mm, and 4200mm. There are also some special lengths, such as 3800mm and 4000mm. However, the maximum length of ordinary prefabricated panels is 4200mm.
