Mold Construction for Prefabricated Houses Along the Line
Admin September 18, 2026
The mold construction for prefabricated houses along the line requires standardized operations in two aspects: construction preparation and sub-project construction techniques, to ensure structural accuracy and quality.

I. Construction Preparation
Technical Preparation
- Organize a technical team to review the drawings, focusing on verifying structural dimensions, curve parameters, and mold installation nodes. Deepen the mold segmentation plan and draw detailed drawings, specifying geometric dimensions, connection methods, and support spacing. For curved sections, use BIM technology to simulate the assembly process, ensuring that the smoothness error of the arc is ≤3mm.
- Prepare specialized construction technical disclosure documents, covering key processes such as mold installation accuracy, concrete pouring sequence, and release agent application standards. Conduct three-level disclosures to the construction team through on-site demonstrations and case analyses, ensuring that operators are familiar with the construction specifications for linear structures.
Material Preparation
- Mold Material Selection: The template panel is made of 18mm thick phenolic-coated multi-layer board, with a surface flatness error ≤2mm, water absorption rate ≤12%, and flexural strength ≥15MPa. The support system uses Q235 steel pipe scaffolding (φ48×3.5mm), with vertical pole spacing of 800-1200mm and horizontal pole step spacing of 1500mm. Connectors use M14 tie bolts (tensile strength ≥600MPa) and double-nut anti-loosening devices, with couplings passing torque testing (40-65N·m) before use.
- Material Inspection and Storage: Establish an incoming inspection ledger to verify template certificates, steel pipe wall thickness test reports, and coupling mechanical performance records. When storing templates, use wooden square pads, with a height ≤1.5m. Apply two coats of water-based polymer release agent to the bottom layer and cover with a waterproof cloth for moisture protection.
Site Preparation
- Surveying and Setting Out: Use a total station to set out axis control points at 5m intervals, establishing a three-level review system (team initial review → technical review → supervision acceptance). Set up 50cm control lines along the axis, and use a level to measure elevation errors within ±5mm. For curved sections, set up encrypted control points every 3m to ensure that the mold installation arc conforms to the design.
- Foundation Treatment: Compact the mold support foundation to ensure a ground bearing capacity ≥150kPa. Lay a 200mm thick graded gravel cushion and a 100mm thick C20 concrete cushion, with vertical pole positioning lines marked on the surface and pre-embedded steel plate bases to enhance stability.
II. Sub-Project Construction Techniques (Taking a straight section as an example)
Template Assembly
- Pre-assemble templates on the ground using tongue-and-groove joints, with 5mm thick EVA sealant strips applied at the joints. Each template block should have a length ≤2.4m and width ≤1.2m. After assembly, check the overall flatness with a 2m straightedge, with an error ≤3mm.
- The installation sequence is "sides first, then top." Connect the side templates to the inner battens (50×100mm wooden squares, spaced 300mm apart) using tie bolts, and set adjustable supports at the top to adjust the accuracy within ±2mm.
Support Reinforcement
- The longitudinal spacing of vertical poles is 900mm, and the transverse spacing is 800mm. Set up bidirectional horizontal diagonal bracings (at an angle of 45°-60°) for each vertical pole, with steel pipe overlaps ≥1m and fixed with 3 rotating couplings.
- Install diagonal braces (spaced 1.5m apart) on the outside of the side templates, with the bottom connected to pre-embedded ground anchors and the top adjusted for verticality using turnbuckles, with a deviation controlled within 1/500.
