Prefabricated House Installation Flowchart

Admin September 18, 2026

The installation process of prefabricated houses (prefabricated buildings) can be divided into four core stages, as follows:

1. Component Production and Transportation

The entire production process of prefabricated components is completed in the factory, including steel mold making, steel bar binding, concrete pouring, and demolding. The production objects cover structural components such as beams, slabs, columns, and walls. Finished components need to be stacked according to specifications and delivered to the construction site by special transportation vehicles. During transportation, anti-collision measures should be taken to ensure the integrity of the components.

2. On-site Construction Preparation

  1. Technical Preparation: Check the reserved and embedded parts (such as pipeline interfaces and connector positions) in the component drawings to ensure no omissions; formulate processing and loading sequences based on component weight and lifting range, and dynamically match them with the lifting plan.
  2. Layout Planning: Harden the construction site with steel plates and plan vehicle routes and tower crane positions (the tower crane model should be selected based on the maximum component weight and coverage).
  3. Pre-lifting Preparation: Organize lifting equipment (such as steel wire ropes and shackles) and check their load-bearing capacity; load the components according to the lifting sequence and mark their serial numbers; set out positioning control lines on site; install adjustment tool embedments (such as diagonal support bolts); complete the erection and precision calibration of the lower support system (such as temporary supports).

3. Component Lifting and Assembly

  1. Lifting Sequence: Taking a prefabricated frame structure as an example, lift the columns first, then install the main beams, secondary beams, and floor slabs in sequence to ensure structural stability.
  2. Key Operations:
    • When lifting components, adjust their horizontal state through lifting equipment to facilitate steel bar alignment; immediately check the steel bar positions after column demolding, and control deviations within the allowable range.
    • After lifting is completed, bind the steel bars at the connection parts (such as beam-column joints) and pour concrete at the joints and the cast-in-place layer of the beam and slab to enhance the overall structural integrity.

4. Detail Installation and Finalization

  1. Install prefabricated components such as bay windows and balconies, and simultaneously complete the reservation and embedding of water and electricity pipelines (such as embedded wire boxes and sleeves).
  2. Pour concrete on the floor slab and perform precise leveling of the cast-in-place floor surface to ensure the surface flatness meets acceptance standards.
  3. Some projects can integrate networking technologies (such as sensor monitoring) to achieve data-driven management and control of the construction process.

Core Logic of the Flowchart: Factory prefabrication → Transportation → On-site lifting (columns → beams → slabs) → Steel bar connection and pouring → Detail installation. Technical Focus: It is necessary to strictly control the component lifting sequence, horizontal adjustment accuracy, and stability of the support system to avoid structural safety hazards caused by construction deviations.
