Prefabricated House Design
Prefabricated house design is a construction method that involves industrial production of building components and on-site assembly. The main types include panel-assembled, box-assembled, modular buildings, and prefabricated panel houses.

Panel-assembled buildings: These use prefabricated wall panels and floor slabs as core components. This design approach can expand the usable area of a building because the components are prefabricated in a factory with high dimensional accuracy, reducing errors and material waste during on-site construction. However, its design flexibility is somewhat limited due to the standardized production of components, making it difficult to meet some personalized and complex architectural design requirements.
Box-assembled buildings: These are assembled by combining prefabricated functional units. This design method significantly increases construction speed, with speeds 50%-70% faster than traditional construction methods. However, box-assembled buildings have high requirements for transportation and lifting equipment because the prefabricated functional units are usually large and heavy, requiring professional transportation and lifting equipment for on-site assembly.
Modular buildings: These represent a higher level of integration within prefabricated construction. Taking the E-MIC prefabricated concrete box house system as an example, it breaks away from the traditional design concept of 'one module, one room' through innovative design ideas. By adopting a 'one module, one space' arrangement of prefabricated modules, the basic units are transformed into three types: prefabricated concrete modules, prefabricated beams, and prefabricated slabs, reducing module usage by 30%-40%. At the same time, this design approach also improves the usable floor area ratio and construction speed, making spatial arrangements more flexible and suitable for various construction scenarios such as urban renewal, new residential buildings, and offices.
Prefabricated panel houses: These are houses built primarily with prefabricated panels. Prefabricated panels are factory-made cement components produced by nailing wooden models, laying out steel bars, and pouring cement. Prefabricated panels come in two types: solid and hollow. The hollow structure achieves lightweighting by reducing non-load-bearing concrete, lowering the overall weight of the building and facilitating transportation and installation.
