How are Charges Determined for Prefabricated House Data
Admin September 18, 2026
There is no unified standard for charging for prefabricated house data, which is mainly influenced by factors such as charging methods, project types, and regional differences. The following are common charging methods and influencing factors:

Common Charging Methods
- Charging by Building Area: The data contracting fees for ordinary residential projects are typically 1-3 yuan per square meter, while complex projects such as commercial complexes may reach 3-8 yuan or even higher per square meter. Specifically, for Class I buildings, the data fees are approximately 1.1-1.5 yuan per square meter, and for Class II buildings, they are about 1.6-2.0 yuan per square meter. There are slight differences in data from different sources; for example, some data indicate that the charging range for commercial complexes is 3-6 yuan per square meter.
- Charging as a Percentage of Project Cost: Based on the total project cost, the charging ratio is usually between 0.5% and 2%. For basic data organization (such as merely organizing existing documents), the fee is about 0.1%-0.3% of the total cost; for comprehensive services (including preparation, review, communication, and coordination), the fee is about 0.3%-0.8%. For special project types, road projects are charged at 0.8%-1.5%, and bridge projects at 1%-2%.
- Fixed Total Price Charging: This method is suitable for small-scale and simple projects, where both parties determine a fixed total price through negotiation. For example, for small-scale renovation or municipal maintenance projects, the charging range is approximately 3,000-8,000 yuan; for medium-sized ordinary buildings or industrial projects, it is about 8,000-20,000 yuan; for large-scale complex projects (such as high-rise building complexes), the cost may exceed 20,000 yuan, even reaching tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of yuan.
Key Factors Influencing Charges
- Project Type and Complexity: Complex projects (such as super high-rise buildings and large public buildings) have significantly higher charges than simple projects due to the variety of data and the difficulty of preparation. For example, small projects may cost about 3,000-8,000 yuan, while large bridges or high-rise building complexes may cost tens of thousands of yuan.
- Stringency of Data Requirements: If specific industry standards, local regulations, or special owner requirements (such as refined classification and multilingual versions) need to be met, more manpower and time will be required for data preparation, resulting in higher charges.
- Regional Differences: In economically developed regions (such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen), due to higher labor costs and market conditions, charging standards are usually 20%-50% higher; in economically underdeveloped regions, they are 10%-30% lower.
- Scope of Services: Basic data organization only involves document collection and preliminary classification, with lower charges; if it includes value-added services such as archiving, digitization, and assistance with acceptance, the charging ratio or total price will increase significantly.
- Time Requirements: For urgent projects that require additional manpower or overtime work, charges may increase by 20%-50% on the normal basis.
