Prefabricated House Beam Images

Admin September 18, 2026

We cannot directly provide images of prefabricated house beams, but we can introduce relevant knowledge about them.

Types of Prefabricated Beams

Prefabricated beams are one of the main prefabricated components in prefabricated concrete frame structures. Common types include prefabricated solid beams and prefabricated composite beams. Prefabricated solid beams are entirely prefabricated in factories, with reasonable internal reinforcement configurations and dense concrete pouring, providing high strength and stiffness. They can withstand significant loads and are suitable for building parts with high structural strength requirements. Prefabricated composite beams consist of a prefabricated part and a cast-in-place part. The prefabricated part is made in the factory and transported to the construction site, where a certain thickness of concrete is poured on top to form a composite structure. This structure combines the advantages of prefabricated and cast-in-place components, improving construction efficiency while ensuring the overall performance of the structure.

Situation of Load-Bearing Beams in Rural Self-Built Houses

In rural self-built houses, load-bearing beams are usually cast in one piece using reinforced concrete. During construction, prefabricated formwork is used, which is made into specific shapes and sizes according to design requirements, providing a molding space for concrete pouring. The size of the load-bearing beam mainly depends on two factors: first, the span size. The larger the span, the greater the bending moment the beam needs to withstand. Therefore, the cross-sectional size and reinforcement of the beam need to be increased accordingly to ensure sufficient load-bearing capacity. Second, whether there are buildings on the roof. If there are additional buildings on the roof, such as attics or solar equipment, the load on the roof will increase, and the load-bearing beam also needs to be reinforced with increased size and reinforcement quantity to adapt to the increased load requirements.

Advantages of Prefabricated Beams

Prefabricated beams are prefabricated in factories, ensuring the quality and precision of components, reducing wet work on construction sites, improving construction efficiency, and shortening construction periods. At the same time, factory production can better control the quality of raw materials and construction techniques, improving the reliability and durability of the structure.
