Prefabricated House Assembly Flowchart

Admin September 18, 2026

The assembly process of prefabricated houses is divided into prefabricated frame structures and assembled shear wall structures based on the structural type, with the core step being the hoisting of prefabricated components, which requires the integration of BIM technology for full-process collaboration.

Prefabricated Frame Structure Assembly Process

  1. Component Hoisting:

    • After the completion of the first-floor construction, hoist the columns, main beams, secondary beams, and floor slabs of the next floor in sequence. Before hoisting, use a mirror to observe the alignment of reserved reinforcement to ensure precise docking of the reinforcement; the hoisting sequence should be planned in advance to minimize secondary handling workload.
    • Components should be numbered according to the hoisting sequence and marked on the drawings to avoid confusion on-site.
  2. Reinforcement Connection and Pouring:

    • After all prefabricated components are hoisted, bind the reinforcement at the connection points to ensure structural integrity.
    • Pour the joints and the cast-in-place layer of the beams and slabs to form a rigid connection. Before pouring, measure and correct the column top elevation to ensure floor flatness.
  3. Key Operations:

    • Before hoisting, erect a support system and precisely adjust the elevation of the support points to prevent component tilting.
    • Before wall hoisting, embed adjustment tool parts for subsequent verticality correction.

Assembled Shear Wall Structure Assembly Process

  1. Exterior Wall Installation Phase:

    • Surveying and Setting Out: Determine the installation position of components and verify the position and length of reserved reinforcement.
    • Positioning and Correction: After placing steel shims, slowly lower the components and install diagonal supports to correct the verticality, with deviations controlled within specified limits.
    • Seam Filling and Grouting: Use dry hard cement mortar for seam filling to prevent leakage; block and grout through grouting pipes one by one to ensure a dense connection.
  2. Overall Construction Process:

    • Design Phase: After the completion of the cast-in-place main structure construction, carry out component disassembly design and BIM modeling collision checks to optimize the component production and installation sequence.
    • Production and Transportation: Automate component production and pay attention to finished product protection during transportation to avoid damage.
    • On-site Installation: Starting from the 3rd floor, adopt an integrated self-climbing scaffolding system to improve construction efficiency and safety.

General Operation Points

  1. Pre-hoisting Preparation:

    • Erect a support system and adjust the elevation of the support points to the design value to ensure component stability.
    • Number components according to the hoisting sequence and ensure that the marked positions on the drawings match the on-site positions.
  2. Component Type Adaptation:

    • Adjust operation details according to the type of prefabricated components used in specific projects (such as shear walls, composite slabs, stairs, etc.). For example, hoisting of composite slabs requires control of levelness, and hoisting of stairs requires verification of the step direction.
  3. BIM Technology Collaboration:

    • Achieve full-process information collaboration in design, production, transportation, and construction through BIM technology to reduce errors and improve efficiency.

The assembly process of prefabricated houses must strictly follow specifications and adjust operations according to the characteristics of the structural type to ensure construction quality and safety.
