Images of Ceilings for Prefabricated Floor Slab Houses

Admin September 18, 2026

It is not possible to directly provide images of ceilings for prefabricated floor slab houses, but we can provide a detailed introduction to their common types and characteristics.

The ceiling design of prefabricated floor slab houses needs to take into account structural adaptability, functional requirements, and aesthetics. Common types include light steel keel gypsum board ceilings, PVC buckle ceilings, aluminum buckle ceilings, and wooden ceilings. The following is a detailed analysis:

1. Light Steel Keel Gypsum Board Ceiling
With light steel keels as the framework and gypsum boards covering the surface, this is the most common ceiling form in prefabricated floor slab houses. Its advantages lie in its light weight and high strength, which match the load-bearing characteristics of prefabricated floor slabs and avoid imposing additional burdens on the original structure; excellent fire resistance, as gypsum boards themselves are Class A non-combustible materials, meeting building fire safety regulations; and flexible styling, as complex shapes such as arcs and steps can be achieved through keel bending or layered design, meeting diverse decoration needs. During construction, attention should be paid to controlling the keel spacing (usually ≤400mm) and treating the gypsum board joints to prevent cracking.

2. PVC Buckle Ceiling
Made of PVC plastic as the base material and installed through buckle connections, this type of ceiling is suitable for humid environments such as kitchens and bathrooms. Its core features are waterproof and moisture-proof, as PVC materials do not absorb water and are corrosion-resistant, effectively preventing deformation due to humidity changes; easy to clean, with a smooth surface that allows oil stains and dust to be wiped off easily; and low cost, with both material and installation costs lower than those of gypsum board ceilings. However, it is important to choose environmentally friendly PVC to avoid the release of harmful gases from inferior materials.

3. Aluminum Buckle Ceiling
Made of aluminum alloy as the raw material and assembled through stamping and then splicing, this type of ceiling is mostly used in commercial spaces or high-end residences. Its advantages include strong durability, as aluminum alloy is resistant to corrosion and aging, with a service life of over 20 years; convenient installation, as modular design supports rapid assembly and disassembly, facilitating later maintenance; and high aesthetics, as the surface can be treated with baking varnish, brushing, etc., providing a variety of color and texture options. However, the cost is relatively high, and the sound insulation effect is weaker than that of gypsum boards.

4. Wooden Ceiling
Using wooden keels or light steel keels paired with wooden veneer panels (such as sauna boards or ecological wood), this type of ceiling is suitable for areas pursuing a natural style, such as living rooms and bedrooms. Its characteristics include a warm texture, as the natural grain of wood can create a cozy atmosphere; good sound insulation, as wooden structures have better sound absorption capabilities than metal and gypsum; and strong customizability, as personalized designs can be achieved through carving, dyeing, and other crafts. However, attention should be paid to fire prevention treatment (such as applying fire-retardant coatings) and insect and mold prevention measures.
