Prefabricated Concrete House Roof Tile Hanging
There are several methods for hanging tiles on the roof of a prefabricated concrete house, including wooden-strip hanging, concrete-beam hanging, direct cement-mortar pasting, and dry-hanging. Details are as follows:

Wooden-Strip Hanging Method: This method is similar to hanging tiles on a wooden sloped roof. During construction, first, secure the water-flow strips to the concrete surface using steel nails, ensuring they are firmly installed and accurately positioned to provide a stable foundation for subsequent work. Next, install the tile-hanging strips, with their spacing and arrangement precisely calculated and arranged according to the tile specifications and design requirements. Finally, hang the tiles on the tile-hanging strips to complete the tile-hanging work. The advantages of this method are that the tiles are firmly hung, and construction adjustments are relatively convenient, allowing for flexible adjustments to the tile positions and arrangements based on actual conditions. However, the formwork support and pouring for sloped roofs are relatively complex, and the slope and positioning of the roof ridge require professional calculations, demanding a high level of technical skill from construction personnel.
Concrete-Beam Hanging Method: This involves constructing beams using mortar and directly installing tiles on the beams. The construction process for this method is relatively simple, eliminating the need for repeated installation of wooden strips, thereby accelerating construction speed and improving efficiency. However, it requires precise control over the slope and spacing; improper settings can affect tile installation and drainage performance. Additionally, concrete is prone to chipping during construction, which may cause tile slippage, affecting the overall stability and waterproofing of the roof.
Direct Cement-Mortar Pasting Method: This method directly uses cement mortar to paste and fix tiles onto the roof. The construction process is very simple and does not require complex equipment or techniques. However, once leakage occurs, repairs are extremely difficult. Since tiles pasted with cement mortar are tightly bonded to the roof, it is hard to accurately locate the leakage point, and repairs require damaging the original pasting structure, potentially causing further damage to the roof.
Dry-Hanging Method: This method does not involve applying cement on the roof; instead, wooden strips or galvanized steel pipes are directly erected on the roof to form a framework, and then tiles are fixed one by one to the framework using stainless steel screws. This approach leaves a gap of about three centimeters beneath the tiles, allowing air circulation, which helps block heat in summer and provides some insulation. Additionally, maintenance is convenient, the roof is lightweight, reducing the load on the house, and tiles fixed with screws are more secure in strong winds. However, the cost is higher, requiring an additional expenditure of three to six thousand yuan for the entire house.
