Prefabricated Concrete House Forming

Admin September 18, 2026

Prefabricated concrete house forming is a process of pre-fabricating concrete components for buildings in factories or construction sites, achieving efficient and precise production through various forming methods, curing techniques, quality inspection methods, and modern technologies.

Forming Methods

There are diverse forming methods for prefabricated concrete houses, with common ones including flat-mold assembly line forming and vertical-mold forming. Flat-mold assembly line forming is a relatively traditional method that completes the forming process of concrete components at different workstations sequentially through assembly line operations, suitable for large-scale and standardized component production. Vertical-mold forming has the advantage of saving land, especially suitable for production environments with limited space. Additionally, the long-line bed forming method is suitable for open-air production of thin components, allowing flexible adjustment of the bed length according to the size and shape of the components to improve production efficiency.

Curing Techniques

During the forming process, curing is a crucial step to ensure the quality of concrete components. Common curing methods include steam curing, hot-mold curing, and solar curing. Steam curing accelerates the hardening process of concrete and enhances the early strength of components by controlling the temperature and humidity of steam. Hot-mold curing utilizes heated molds to provide heat to the concrete, maintaining an appropriate temperature for the components during the forming process and promoting the hydration reaction of cement. Solar curing is an environmentally friendly and energy-saving method that uses solar collectors to gather heat and provide the necessary temperature and humidity for curing concrete components.

Quality Inspection

Quality inspection is an important step to ensure the quality of prefabricated concrete houses. Through QR code traceability and 3D laser scanning technology, full-process quality control can be achieved. The QR code traceability system assigns a unique identity to each component, recording production information, quality inspection data, etc., facilitating subsequent quality traceability and management. 3D laser scanning technology can perform high-precision inspections of the size, shape, and surface flatness of components, promptly identifying and correcting quality issues during the production process.

Modern Technologies

Modern technologies have brought higher levels of automation and intelligence to prefabricated concrete house forming. The application of automated equipment such as steel bar automatic processing, CNC material distribution robots, and intelligent mold-laying robots has improved production efficiency and component quality. The prefabricated component production system based on intelligent construction integrates planning management and manufacturing execution, achieving the unification of logistics and information flow, making the production process more efficient and orderly.
